I can see it. But it wouldnt be good for his development and I hope it is not necessary as I still have quite a bit of hope for the 3 european goalies and Brossoit. Also since he is doing so well I would like to see him stay at Providence and build a winning mentality with Jankowski and Gilmour. I think Gillies can help Janko and Gilmour develop by taking their team deep into the NCAA post-season and giving them valuable frozen 4 experience. Who knows what we could see from those 2 when they have arguably the best goalie in college hockey putting their very middle of the pack school in very clutch moments. Would be very interesting for sure!
As soon as we traded for Hanowski and Aggy I began watching NCAA hockey and its very fast and a higher level of hockey than I assumed it would be. I watch Providence when I can and they would suck pretty bad without Gillies, (obvs). Much better for the other prospects we have over there with Gillies that he stays there. I'm sure Janko agrees

It'll be tough for Rafikov unless there's a ton of injuries.

I've been wondering what happened to him! Must have gotten a huge pay day...

This isnt meant to be a starting line-up of any sort...just a look at the depth of promising young players this team has acquired or drafted.
It is very impressive. I know all these players didnt show up in the last 1-2 years but this rebuild is going very very well thus far imo.
Cant imagine what our prospect pool will look like after the 2014 draft in which I HOPE we pick atleast twice in the 1st round. defenceman with our pick and a right-winger with the later one we get for Cammalleri
Such exciting times to be a flames fan

Right handed Center with the first one, defenceman with the second 1st, and a couple more defencemen with the multiple seconds from Stempniak and Stajan.
Exciting times indeed.

Colgate trails Bowling Green 1-0 after 1
Michigan State and UMass are scoreless after 1
I'm just listening to the audio, but it sounds like Gaudreau is flying tonight...and just as I type that, he scores. 1G 1A, just past the halfway mark in the first.
The colour guy: "I played 4 years at Boston College and probably had 4 breakaways the entire time. Gaudreau just had 2 breakaways in the same shift."

Poirier has an assist as Gatineau storms out to a 2-0 lead after just 1 minute of play vs Drummondville. Culkin is scoreless as Quebec has a 2-0 lead after 40 minutes vs Moncton.

He even won a face off (possibly the first of his college career).
His assist was his 100th NCAA career point, in his 82nd game.

7-1 BC at the end of the second.
Only one assist for Gaudreau in the second. Arnold took a penalty and Wisconsin scored on the PP (sounded like it should have been offsetting penalties, but they only gave one to Arnold).
After 2...
Johnny: 1G 2A
Billy: 1A 2PIM
In the other games:
Colgate and Bowling Green are tied 1-1 at the start of the third. Harrison had a penalty in the first.
Michigan State trails UMass 2-0 early in the third. DeBlouw took an embellishment penalty in the second.
