Of the two shows I'd say Community wins because it never really jumped the shark as where the third season of Arrested Development was quite weak in comparison to the first two. The Charlize Theron storyline in my opinion ruined Arrested Development. Community has no real head scratchers, the show was good from beginning to end.

Saturday Night Live superstar Kristen Wiig is set to make an appearance in Netflix’s anticipated Arrested Development revival as a younger version of Jessica Walter’s boozy matriarch Lucille Bluth.
Last month, Netflix announced that Arrested Development‘s 14-episode fourth season would be available sometime in May.

The only head scratcher I can think of is how on earth nobody followed that post up with this...
My goal is to sleep between 5pm and 11pm on the 25th, prepare the munchies and stay up all night watching AD. I've been looking forward to this for a long time.

Ouch, what a couple months can do...

I have a feeling this is gonna be wildly disappointing. Why can't we just be content with what we have? Isn't part of the appeal/popularity of AD that 90% of us discovered it after it had already been cancelled? The longing for something is better than actually having it sometimes, you know? How can it possibly live up to the hype? I remember thinking I'd kill for Family Guy to come back and when it did, I barely watched any episodes and haven't watched a new one in years.
And I don't understand why netflix is realeasing all the episodes at once. We've waited seven(?) years for this and now we're gonna blow our load watching it all at once in one sitting? I just imagine going "huh. well, that was fun. what now?". I just don't get it. I think I'll just watch one episode per week anyways.
I was discussing this with some other people tonight and they all disagreed, so I thought I'd vent.
