Not a relay per se, but there is team pursuit -- in which they skate in line all at the same time with their team, taking turns as the leader (they are drafting each other) - much like bikers in a bike race.

I used to think Carter Rycroft was kind of good-looking. Mind you, he's not a young 20-something anymore.

lol..........just to clarify, I was cheering for her on the last run today, after all the Canadian girls were eliminated. So I guess that makes me only a partially bad Canadian.

Man, I dont know what is going on with this Denmark/US curling match, but both skips are playing atrociously. I believe that is now 7 different open draws to score or lie shot rock that have been flat out missed. THE US skip just missed a draw to the 8 foot to allow Denmark to steal 3.Brutal stuff.

lol. It takes some real incompetence to allow a steal of three.

Yeah, I didn't hear about it at work, but when I was driving home, I saw the torch go on up on the tower at 5:00, and I knew Nesbitt must have won gold.
Decent results in the first heat of the women's skeleton; Gough in 2nd, Hollingsworth in 5th, just 3 100ths out of a medal spot.

Vaughn Chipeur of Canada, who was 24th coming into tonights competition, had a fairly decent skate tonight in the mens figure skating. He currently sits at 4th, with plenty of skaters left to go however.

I know everyone is watching hockey, but Chipeur is now in 5th with 18 skaters to go.. including Patrick Chan and Brian Joubert who is just so talented in so many ways...
Just to get on the good side with the boys again...
