The last coach talked about being turfed during a playoff series I can remember was Jimmy Playfair. It didn't end well for him he ended up in Edmonton.

That was an odd series and season.

Absolutely dominated and embarrassed in Detroit but a solid team at the Dome. That was the theme of the season. Just brutal on the road with a well below .500 record. Even if they won Game 6 in OT, there's no reason to believe they would have done any better in Game 7 on the road.

Poor kiosk employee.

30 wins at home I believe and 13 on the road. At a point it wasn't unreasonable to think we would finish below 10 road wins and still make the playoffs.

That was the series that Langkow got low bridged and smoked the guy in the face with his glove. Noodles got suspended and never played again.

There isn't a single professional in that crowd. The level of serious he displays there is just matching and mirroring it.

I'm still so mad this is a series again. This very well could have been a sweep but a few things had to go perfectly and unsurprisingly they did.

Who was the absolute dope of a player that tried to carry the puck out instead of shooting it off the glass and out out with 50 seconds left??

I think it was the skate to the red line or ice it he was thinking. He wasn't expecting the Oilers dman to punch so heavy and continue to attack.

Bouchard was standing still. If he chips it past him, he easily retrieves it in the neutral zone, and then he is on a 2 on 1 with an empty net.

But that's *exactly* what he should be expecting in that situation

He doesn’t look very professional giving attitude to reporters who are asking the question everybody was thinking. On the other hand, who asked him- was it an oilers media fanboy or a national media person? If it was an oilers media clown, I’d get short with them as well. They wouldn’t ask knobby the tough questions, they’d just kiss his behind with some softball question about how good the oilers are.
He called the guy ‘Tim’. Obviously some history there.

I still have faith. If the Kings lose at home, all faith is gone. Hold serve, boys.

It must be a reporter from LA.
