I dunno.. Bears are starting to keep them to within 15-20 yards per rush, so I think they are starting to adjust

Not likely a broken collar bone if he isnt in a sling. Shoulder injuries are weird deals though....some that look awful guys come back uick...innocent looking ones can end up being weeks.

Forte is a really solid back, pretty smart player too. Trestman has done a really good job of using him this year.

Bears, Packers, and Lions all 5-3 and 2-1 in the division. Should be an interesting 2nd half to the season in that division.

So that's what it feels like to play a Packers team with a regular human at QB

Seneca Wallace...epic fail.
Nice job by the Bears for sure, although I have to believe that if Rodgers plays that game, its a win for GB. But injuries are a part of the game and i think there will be many questions thrown towards both Thompson and McCarthy for not addressing the backup QB siuation properly since Flynn left. They have been gambling with it for 2 seasons now, and tonight they rolled snakeb eyes.
NFC North just got really interesting going forward.
How about I start the rumor now?
Brett Favre comeback with the Packers?

Have to hand it to Trestman to go for that 4th down on thier own 30 only up by 4. Chewed another 6 minutes off the clock after that.
It's a bit of an easier decision when you look across the field and see Seneca Wallace. Watching that GB last "drive" brings back memories I thought I suppressed of the 2008-09 Seahawks.

Well with every team being now at least at the halfway point of the season, I thought I'd put up the playoff games if the playoffs started today.
AFC
1. Kansas City (9-0)
2. New England (7-2)
(6) NY Jets (5-4) @ (3) Indianapolis (6-2)
(5) Denver (7-1) @ (4) Cincinnati (6-3)
NFC
1. Seattle (8-1)
2. New Orleans (6-2)
(6) Carolina (5-3) @ (3) Detroit (5-3)
(5) San Francisco (6-2) @ (4) Dallas (5-4)

Hard to believe that two years ago the AFC West Champion Broncos had 8 wins and the NFC West Champ Seahawks had 7. 9 weeks in and the Division leaders already have more than those totals. The second place teams in those Divisions have as many or more wins than any other teams in their Conference.
Crazy how in a week a team like the Packers go from being a lock, to being in danger.

sounds like a small fracture on the collar bone for Rogers potentially out 3 weeks

Rodgers apparently has a small fracture of his collarbone and will miss 3 weeks. With the Eagles, Giants and Vikings on deck they probably couldn't have picked a better time for him to get hurt, they could still go 3-0 against that bunch.

All 3 teams are playing better. I think at best the Packers win 1 of the the 3.
Three weeks might be long enough to make Sunday's Bears-Lions game a de facto division title game. Obviously still early, but if the Lions win they'll be two up on the Bears (including tiebreakers) and if the Bears win they'll be one up and will likely control the tiebreakers assuming they beat Green Bay (possibly with Rodgers back) in Chicago.

The Eagles score 0 offensive touchdowns (at home no less) in the 2 weeks before lighting up the Raiders, so they can be had especially with an improved Green Bay defense. The Giants beat the Vikings and Eagles, two not very good teams, and Eli is still a turnover machine. The Vikings might still be worse off at QB than the Packers even without Rodgers. Not saying they will go 3-0, but when you look at their schedule this is pretty much the best time this could happen. They could also resign Matt Flynn, watch him put up 3 straight 400 yard, 4 TD games and then trade him again to another sucker.
