WELL WHEN YOU HAVE TO TYPE LIKE THIS TO GET A POINT ACROSS, then it isn't far off.

But really, lets just drop it. Stupid to argue.

That pussification of the NFL is ridiculous.
To me, the NFL rules changes have actually made it more dangerous for receivers because they 'think' they're being protected. You watch the NFL 10 years ago, plays just weren't called where a receiver prances down the middle of the field. The Ronnie Lotts and Rodney Harrisons of the world would have taken the receiver's head off. It took a very courageous and special (and probably Hall of Fame) receiver to run slants. Now anyone runs across the middle and even if helmet-to-helmet on a receiver is outlawed, the receiver will still get hit by shoulders, arms, hips, anything. Those are suicide passes.

Agreed. Stop calling deep slants over the middle and guys won't get killed.

Would have been nice to punch that in but 17-16 lead at the half after being down 13-0 on the road to a good football team is pretty good.

Ho Hum Ho Hum. Colts go down early but Manning just starts destroying that Philly D.

Eagles not playing well enough to win, but that blown call turned the game around.

Philly should just run the ball over and over. They will put up points if they do that in the 2nd half.

The CBS guys bringing up the point that I did that Coleman was trying to get out of the way when get hit Collie. The thing that blows my mind is the non-call on Townsend's hit on Celek, which was clearly more of a penalty in the spirit of the rule.

The refs reacted to the injury. The hit on Celek wasn't bonejarring enough.

The panel had it bang on.

If the Colts D can avoid the big play against, they'll be just fine. Peyton figured out that Eagles D at the end of the half, and Brown actually ran the ball decent.

I can eat my own words, after seeing the analysis and a billion replays it's pretty obvious there was no intent and it should've been a no call. I just hope Collie is okay now, and we can get an update.

It was only a 15 yard penalty, on a 2nd and 6 play. The Colts dominated that entire 2nd quarter. It will be on tv all week as Simms said, but it's over now. Colts win and we're tied for the best record in the league.

The drive to start the 3rd quarter will be huge.

I agree with this. I don't see how they called a penalty on 1 and not the other. They should have both been calls or neither been a call at worst.

Great news about Collie! Only seems to be a concussion.

Except it should've been ruled a fumble and Eagles ball, but whatever. Just win the second half and it doesn't matter.

Chiefs have left about 13 points off the board. Better not come back to bite them in the ass.

Philly made a good stand on that 1st drive. I think this goes down to late in the 4th quarter.
