I suspect something will get done this time. (not necessarily with Miler and the Rags, but something)
Rangers are a disaster too after winning the Presidents Trophy last year...to the point that someone suggested Drury would do "very bad things."

It's well established how delusional Oiler and Hab fans are, but it's unusual to see a Canucks fan with this level of delusion.

CBJ wouldn't trade Fantilli for Pettersson, straight up.

Werenski, straight-up, would be a fair trade

But add Fantilli and a 2nd? LOL

I think if that person was posting here it would be in green text. That person is very sarcastic a lot of the times with his tweets and I feel it's no different here

Why settle for a 2nd?

As a rival fan, the Canucks should trade Miller out of the 2. He's 5 years older and will be 32 this season. They can still get some good pieces for him. See how the locker room adjusts after that.

Why help them? I’m throughly enjoying the latest chapter of their soap opera.

this topic came up in the change room after hockey this week.
one of the guys on my team is the uncle of a current member of the canucks and he had asked his nephew about all the chatter in the media.
it sounds like the media is just trying to 'get clicks'.
do petey and miller 'get along' - yes
are they "besties" - no
the biggest 'issue' is that miller is a super intense guy. he sees a guy like petey with so much talent and skill and he can see how much better petey could be... and he wants that for petey... it's more about 'how he communicates' that with petey that is the issue.

we also asked about the possibility of a trade involving miller or petey... not gonna happen unless someone offers a king's ransom, then the canucks would pull the trigger - but it would have to be a major 'over pay' in their eyes to do a trade.

Tolvanen was free and made about $1-2M. This guy makes almost $12 million? For what, 15 more points and a complimentary no-show in the playoffs?

Me. You mortgage the future for someone like this? This guy is on the same point pace as Huberdeau.
