Montoyo has no idea how to construct a lineup. You split up your lefties by at least 2 righties so the lefty reliever doesnt get to face 2 of them. Here's an idea, put the Player of the Week Gurriel Jr. In the 3 hole, Shaw to cleanup and Vladdy to 5th. It's not rocket science.

I hope he clears waivers and sticks with the club and goes back to the taxi squad.
I feel like this is a sign that Jansen will start all the games in this series and maybe the Yankees series too, at which point we could see McGuire added back to the roster. I can't imagine Kirk is on the big roster for the long haul.

Other than Ryu, our rotation sucks so bad.
Gotta keep reminding myself that we're in the middle of a rebuild and the rotation wasn't likely to be very good, but with being in a playoff race and having one of the best bullpens in MLB, this is pretty F-ing frustrating right now.
You almost want to shoot Anderson and Roark into the sun and put Merryweather and Hatch into their starting slots, but I don't think that would be very smart for the long term.

2 2/3 for Anderson and he's done with 67 pitches.
Hopefully he doesn't complain after the game that he's a diesel engine and was just getting warmed up and needed more time to work his magic.
