Hopefully Sutter.
My random crazy uneducated guess is that it'll be Sutter with Peters as his associate. Peters goes from HC to associate, but gets a chance to be closer to home, away from whatever is going on in Carolina, and opportunity to take over if Sutter doesn't work out.
Like that Eakins has a vote lol

Darryl Sutter and Alain Vigneault are my top two. Either of them and I'm happy.
Next tier is Trotz and Ruff. They have their warts, but can at least get teams to perform well enough to make playoffs. But would like more recent success.
Peters I'm hesitant on. Seems like a repeat of Gulutzan error.
Eakins, lol.

It has been a roller coaster ride. I initially disliked Gulutzen, then I liked him, and then I disliked him again.
I understand why he was not fired sooner since the team was still in a playoff spot late but it had to happen now with the late season collapse. I don't care too much about who the next coach is but hope they can at least last a few years and end the Flames depressing coaching carousel.

I have a hard time believing that there would still be bad blood regarding that stuff. These people are all adults and they understand that this is a business. It's been 8 years since Sutter resigned. Whatever happened during that time between the two camps, I wouldn't be surprised if it's water under the bridge at this point.

I think we would see a very different Sam Bennett under Darryl Sutter. If anyone could make Bennett a complete player, Darryl would probably be the guy!
