and Everton is currently negotiating with Sevilla coach Unai Emery. Would be a terrific choice.
Guardiola, Mourinho, Klopp, Conte, Wenger, Pochettino, Ranieri, Koeman, Bilic, maybe Emery ... crazy.

Not annoying at all. I wanted him gone. The sooner I heard the news that his stubborn ass was out the door the better and hearing him gone was the highlight of my Saturday.
And that is the nature of what the FA cup has come to be. A pretty much meaningless competition compared to days of old. Yes, it was nice to win it bit it simply doesn't carry the weight it used to (for me anyways). There was no victory parade planned.
So, no, I've 6M reasons why I don't feel sorry for the useless old control freaked fool. That was the news I've been waiting to hear for I don't know how long now so thanks to Mendes I got to hear it a tad earlier than usual.
Now ... would like to see the cord cut on Giggs and not thrilled on Ibra joining.

disagree. I wanted him gone too, but releasing the news on May 21st has no upside over releasing the news on May 23rd. Totally classless by the Mendes camp, but I can't say I'm too surprised. The post game presser was beyond pathetic from the media vultures as well, but again, business of usual.
I realize it's a cold business, but man, letting the man enjoy the cup win for a couple of days and then letting him leave the club with an ounce of dignity should have been in the cards for sure.

Agree to disagree. I just wanted him gone and could care less about him and his stubborn ego. He sucked the life out of the club. Good riddance to him. He's got more than enough $ to put on his bruised ego.
I'm not going to disagree with your statement on Mendes but at the end of the day part of that is his own fault. As a manager you try and get on with people like Mendes, who you will very much be dealing with. Instead, he, in typical fashion alienated himself from him. So in a way he got what he deserved. Compare that to say the relationship SAF had with him.
His own personality and arrogance and inability to form relationships came back to haunt him.

Yeah...you kind of want people to be reluctant to fire you for a number of reasons. See Brad Treliving and Hartley. It had to be done but it sucked and no one was happy about it.
In this instance I think a lot of people lined up for the privilege of putting their boot to his ass out the door.

And yet, while the one-time England midfielder (literally - he has one England cap) was proving what a mature man he has become, the Joey Barton of 2012 was coming back to bite the Joey Barton of 2016 in the bottom.
How so? Through the cheeky scamps of Twitter, who had gone through the former Man City and Newcastle man's feed… and found this unfortunate post from four years ago:@ceehut I'm a celtic fan...

Germany is a god-damn goalie factory. Karius is their 6th best goalie at best, but a pretty decent option for Liverpool. Surely an upgrade over Mignolet.

Well that's really cool & all...
"Mignolet, 28, signed a new five-year contract at Anfield in January."

Why bother winning the league? Who cares?
Quote:
The Premier League has revealed the payments made to clubs for the 2015-16 season, with four teams earning more money than champions Leicester City.
Arsenal were the biggest earners, raking in £101.952 million. Second on the list were Manchester City at £96.972m, followed by Manchester United at £96.477m and Tottenham Hotspur with £95.222m.
Leicester come in fifth with £93.22m as they were chosen for live television broadcast in the UK on far fewer occasions than the traditional big clubs.
Next season the new UK broadcast deal with Sky and BT kicks in, which sees a 71 percent increase in revenues. It means the team finishing bottom of the Premier League can expect to earn in the region of £100m.

I would imagine that they'll be shown more for 2016-17 though?

Sure, but shouldnt winning the League matter more?
Its ridiculous, who cares what club you are, if you win the league you should get the top prize money. What it does is make it so that clubs like United, City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea make more or less the same money every year regardless of performance.

the way the PL distributes the TV money is extremely fair, especially in comparison to Spain or Italy for example. Just a weird thing to get upset about ^^

I agree, I cant argue that, I just feel that it makes the most sense that the Champions get the most money.

Yeah I agree that it seems crazy. I guess the hope is that you have some parity though so that lower tier teams will be able to compete financially. Aside from this you have teams that win get the most money, win again because of the money and the process continues. I realize Leicester didn't follow that same spending this year, but I think that's an outlier.
