Rube - all the best that your week gets much better. Hope your tests all come out with good news!

You know you could just be watching baseball right now. Anaheim and New York tied 4-4 midway through the 8th.

Not a good week for you.
Sorry to hear about your cat. It's tough when one has to put a beloved pet down
Hope the CT scans come up negitive and there is no lymphoma.

Big behavioural descriptive interview for me tomorrow...very nervous. A make or break it day for me. I think the best way to prepare is to sit on CP for the next 6-8 hours.
I also really want to go and see George W. Bush tomorrow night in Edmonton, but alas, I have things to do. Would be very interesting I think.

I'm doing a paper on GWB right now. I'm writing about his strategies in his second term of dealing with the public. Which as far as I can tell boil to jokes about football and trying to seem like an "average American." He's bugging me, that's for sure.

Not a real big baseball, fan, I just like the movies... Too bad Bull Durham isn't on after... ahaha. Or Mr. Baseball
BTW, this is on TV, I'm not throwing in DVDs or anything.

The thing about this Bush speech tomorrow, is you can buy tickets on ticketmaster for it. So what is stopping the crazies from getting tickets to this event and trying something? I'm sure the security is going to be heavy, including secret service, but nonetheless...

No one tries to shoot ex-Presidents. All schizo/angry people have moved onto those in power.

That would be incredibly freaky to see a Classmates ad with a picture of someone you actually knew in high school. I'd turn off my computer and run. They know too much.

I'm more talking about things like heckling and just merely interrupting the speech.

Oh yeah, well I bet Bush is used to a few yellers in every audience.
On a random note, why does everyone love Dexter? Dexter, the character, is great but beyond that is terrible dialogue and one-dimensional characters.

Celebrated Square Root Day

One pet peeve of mine is when people support or want to bring attention to something, and use what I believe to be wrong, and therefore funny wording.
Like people saying they support breast cancer, or a commercial I just saw with Ron Wilson saying that he wants to bring attention to a huge problem....sober driving. You know what people mean when they say these things, but it still cracks me up every time.

I've noticed that a few times.
If you can't legitimately use facts or opinion and evidence then it is just best to be as sarcastic as possible so that people can't really tell that there is aboslutely no substance to your argument.

Yes, he's always raging over nothing.
I've considered putting him on ignore because I can't stand how worked up he gets over nothing at all. He'd be the first to make my list.

How many people are on your ignore list? I have 4 on mine. But I think only 1 or 2 of them are actually still posting here. The other 2 were just transient, troll-ish types.
