Yeah place looked busy when I went to the open house on Sat so I figured it had to be half decent at least. Clincher was that I could pick the toppings. I think she sold 10 buns while I was waiting for my order. They slice the jalapenos lengthwise which is brilliant and I will do from now on.

They’re still there! Cedars is gone, AW is still there and now two crappy Chinese food places. Korean bbq, Carl’s Jr and Japanese place.

Agreed. Look at the prices too - basically $2 CDN for a sandwich, which is awesome. They're definitely better than they look. If you know, you know.
My go-to at the 7-11's in Japan are the onigiri. For basically little more than $1 CDN, they are absolutely mint for a grab-and-go snack, and fill you up completely. The spicy salmon ones are delicious.

Thailand is another place with amazing 7-11's. They had these grilled panini things when I was there that were amazing, plus they sell booze. It was very common to head to a 7-11 afterparty after all the bars closed at 2am
