When Jackson ran he averaged almost 12 yards a carry so essentially a first down every time. Then when passing 25% of his throws go for TDs with 75% completion. Wow.

Goff getting exposed as the fraud that he is this year ... 11 TDs and 12 INTs. Have fun eating THAT contract over the next few years. Add in the Ramsey trade and Gurley regressing and it's not looking pretty.

I mean Gurley isn't regressing so much as physically faltering. As for Goff I'd be curious at this point what he'd get on the open market if he was made available. It's still a QB desperate world and he's shown in the right situation he can look great. The contract is not even relatively bad, it's a bit of an overpay but we know $25 million per is where mediocre QB pay starts.
But it is amazing how quickly things change in sports. This time a year ago Goff was an MVP candidate, McVay was the greatest NFL genius this side of Belichick, Lamar was a project, and Harbaugh was on his way out.

I have to admit I didn't think the Ravens could make it work with a running QB but they are the class of the AFC. The Rams defense isn't terrible but last night you may have mistaken them for the worst in the league as they had no answer as when they tried to bring pressure Jackson would simply throw to the wide open receivers. These type of offenses tend to run their course over time as defenses start to figure them out or injuries start to take away the running effectiveness of the QB but it's hard to imagine that happening this season.
It's starting to look like it's over for the Rams. With Gurley declining their passing game isn't scaring anyone as the McVay scheme has been figured out by defensive coordinators. Also the defense despite having some quality players lacks depth because of all the big money they have handed out to Goff, Gurley, Donald, etc.

Thing is, at least thus far, he is a QB that runs rather than being a running QB. They clearly have soe keeper plays built in for him, but mostly he just drops back and makes decisions from there and if they are playing press or man to man and their backs are turned to him and he sees a lane, then he takes off. Otherwise he is just playing the position really well.
Really impressive stuff.

The Rams with Gurley, Goff and McVay are easily the most overrated team this year. Such lofty expectations this season and they will likely miss the playoffs. Goff is a bum and Gurley has had his best year already. It doesn't look like McVay is the genius that everyone was proclaiming him to be.

thank god. Not only has Rudolph been piss poor since Earl Thomas knocked him back to the 70s, but now they also get to conveniently keep him out of the Browns rematch. Win-win.

Steelers defense is good enough that all they need is game management and they can make the playoffs. Rudolph has been Rivers/Jameis level of turnovers of late.

Nice to know it's not all just in my head. Chart shows 1st downs gained by penalty on 3rd downs. Ridiculous how much of an outlier the Packers are.

Nope.
About 3 tweets down shows that the Packers lead the league in receiving calls on Illegal contact, illegal use 9f hands and roughing the passer. I'd post it myself if I could figure it out on my phone.
Everyone has a tint of rose in their glasses, and most Packer fans believe "it all evens out" or " you're just seeing what you want to."
Fact is Brady and Rodgers both have the most pull in the league when it comes to getting calls

To be fair this is a smelly game in every way. Let us just hope it goes by quickly.
