Seems like I've been waiting half of my natural life for a Rasmus Andersson trade

I’m guessing the adder is Hemming if Ras signs.

I tend to agree. Hemming and Bourque dont really do it for me.
The 1st is almost certainly going to be a late one.
It feels like unless Bischel is included, another team should handedly beat the offer.

Prefer the Detroit offer. Not a fan of what Dallas has.

I was definitely a lot more excited about Detroit as a trading partner versus Dallas. Guess I'll wait to see the what/when soon enough, but not a lot that Dallas has that I really want. The first rounder......sure, after that a lot of 'meh'
edit: Psytic beat me to it.

Why is everyone assuming the deal is with Dallas? Did I miss something.

Nobody is assuming anything. We are just discussing Dallas because there has been a lot of smoke there for awhile now.

There was a tweet about 10 or 20 pages ago that suggested it and people took off with it

Yeah that orange Julius guy on Twitter from the car dealership quoted another random Twitter account who said that...
Boston offered lohrei and one of their 1sts. Rasmus refused to enter into extension talks with them.
Dallas offered a 1st, prospect and another pick and are now talking extension with him.

Andersson never refused a team directly, nor is he talking extension with any team. Conroy wont make the same mistake with Andersson they did with Hanifin.

If the Andersson deal turns out to be Dallas 1st, a prospect, and a pick, I’ll have a hard time understanding why this couldn’t have been done two months ago.
Oh well, at least it will be done.

One word: Cap. Dallas is up against it and needs at least one guy on LTIR.

Im not stating it as fact he just asked why people are discussing dallas intensely. It was kicked off by cmpdave retreating another Twitter user named dsb hockey who made those two claims. All just internet rumors but it gave people something to talk about thats not people taking jabs at each other based on what they think flames mgmt is doing, or not doing, behind the curtain. So personally I say bring your random flames rumors haha

According to Puckpedia, they are $1,285,906 over the cap, but have over $3 million in LTIR cap space with Seguin and Bichsel on LTIR. Bichsel is expected back in February, so it's really just Seguin that they can count on.
Seguin has only been on LTIR since December 6, and then there was the usual bit of delay before he took the plunge and had season-ending surgery. That would appear to be why the Stars didn't add anybody to their roster earlier.
