Why spend so much time trying to farm gear when the expansion is only a couple of weeks away? Pretty much the only worthwhile thing to do right now is to farm XP for paragon levels

Speaking of which, if anyone wants to join me doing Crypt of the Ancients it's an insane amount of exp quickly.

What's a windfury and how do you farm specifically for it? Isn't loot pretty much random? Or it is a quest reward?

Should I be trying to make some last minute gold on the AH before it goes away, and other than diamonds any tips on what to sell?

Obviously broken... LOL. You were no where near me in EXP and overnight you are level 199? WTF?
Seems like my hitting 200 is a wasted effort now.

Yes, white items are selling for 30k, blues for 10-14k.
Sell everything you won't use.

Thanks for the couple runs. That's pretty insane, I think each 1-2 minute run was getting me 50 million exp.

Which one is Crypt of the Ancients? I've been farming Battlegrounds on Torment I lately, was thinking of moving down to Azmodan.

It's one of the dungeons in the Festering Woods in Act 1. Do the Broken Sword quest, where you need to get the orbs to get to Alleric's Tomb, go to the COTA, but don't take the orb. Every time you restart a game, you'll get a TP directly back to the COTA.

That works pretty good. What's the best way to do it, just go in and clear everything as fast as possible? Or try and leave the summoners and try and get them all within range so they just summon skeletons constantly (haven't been able to make that work overly well yet).

I had some pretty solid runs there with multiple exp pools and like 3 enlightenment shrines in 6 runs. I could actually see my exp jump and not just move.
The trade off appears to be very few drops as I got only 1 legendary while doing act 3 torment 3 runs I was seeing a ton.

Find a torment level you're not going to die frequently in, if possible get a set up that gives a large damage burst over a short time and then try and kill the white skeletons. I'd recommend not going for the elite and teleporting back to town and starting the next game as quickly as possible. Ideally you're looking at it being a minute or so.

I don't think I can do a torment level with it yet, my wizard is pretty new to lvl 60 and whites were taking me a while on master. On hard I can do it all in a minute or so including the elite.
I'll try a torment level just to see though.

I'll definitely try this tonight. I'm burning through A3 Battle Fields on Torment I with not too much difficulty. Maybe I'll give this a shot in Torment II.

From what I saw, you were level 185 when I went to bed ~1:30 to level 199 this morning, which is about ~4 billion EXP. You must have done dozens, if not hundreds of games to gain that amount.
Creating new games as often as people are, like during the Mira and "saving villagers" exploits is really hard on the servers and causes lagging for all players. It's why I won't play any hardcore characters. Don't want to lose a character to lag.
I am all for finding good EXP runs, but only if it doesn't impact others due to rapid game re-creation.
My one cent... after taxes.

Maybe I am just misunderstanding you here, but do your exp pools carry on to next game?

How do you not kill the elites? Every time I've gone in there they've been right at the front

EXP pools last until you die or they run out
