I just downloaded Infinity Blade 2. Right now seems a lot of repetition to me, you just swipe the screen like crazy and level up. Is this all to this game?

Skitch is valuable for many reasons. Sending filthy awesome-laden sexts happens to be one of them.

Not sure if this has been mentioned here or not, but I could not find anything.
I just moved over from BB to Iphone and while the Iphone is superior in most ways there is one function on the BB that I miss a lot, the profile manager.
I want to be able to set my sound/notification profiles. Ie at night I want to turn all notifications off except the phone, meetings I want everything to be silent or on vibration.
Is there anything like this out there?
Thanks

For those of you with an US iTunes account, it seems Walmart is selling electronic $50 iTunes cards for $40. You can look at the deal here.

There is? I can't find it. I was actually just about to start an iPad specific app thread till I read this.

There's nothing that does that sadly (perhaps a member of the jailbreak community has a solution). It's probably my biggest pet peeve at the moment. It annoys me when my battery starts to get a little low and I have to manually go through all settings, turn off my notifications, turn off my wifi, lower my screen brightness and turn my mail push off. I'd love to have a "low battery" profile that I could toggle on and off in times of need.

Just stumbled onto a game called Plague Inc. Pretty fun game, you start a virus and pick how you want to mutate it and try to infect and kill every person on the planet.
So far it's been an addictive time waster, I can't get past being just bacteria but I'll keep giving it a shot.

Only backlight brightness is going to have any appreciable effect on battery life in day to day use. The next biggest being 3G, but even then, an iPhone is good for something like 8 hours of 3G usage (talk time - with the screen off since its next to your ear)
Wifi, Push mail, and Notifications, in particular, are not power inefficient at all. (notifications are only slightly power inefficient if they light up the screen when the phone is locked.)
The screen consumes so much more power than anything else on the phone that its pointless to try and eek more battery life out of it by turning those features off.

I find my battery life decreases much faster if I have wifi on and no wifi connections. Seems like its constantly searching for networks.

Yes, that is a good point - I sometimes forget that I'm a little bit unique in the efforts I go to to ensure i'm bathed in 2.4 Ghz at all times.

X2 for this... I blew a whole lunch hour trying to eliminate humanity. Made myself a little too deadly too early and the damn americans figured me out. Very cool idea for an app.

Logos Quiz by AticoD is quite addictive. It shows you part of the logo of a well known company or brand and you have to guess it. It differs from those other ones where they show you the entire logo. So far, I'm on level 8, which was the highest level until level 9 was added a few weeks ago.
It's free, btw.

Snapseed back on sale. Picked this up late last year when it was mentioned on this forum and I was quite impressed with this app.
Looks like it's the free app of the week on iTunes.

Been playing a game called "Bike Baron". It is like the Xbox game Trials HD, and surprisingly addictive.

I'm sure it has been mentioned but if not Photosynth is an awesome app for taking 360 degree photos. I believe it is a free app.
