Why is roll-on deodorant not a thing anymore in North America? Years ago Arrid Extra Dry roll-on was my go to, it stopped my pits from sweating too much, smelled decent, and didn't leave any stains on my shirts like regular sticks/gels do. Then the roll-on sticks disappeared and I was left trying to find a regular stick that didn't gunk up my shirts again. Travelling through Asia roll-on sticks are the norm and they're simply the superior application method, why can't we get that stuff here? I finally found a Nivea roll-on on Amazon that's decent and not too expensive, even though apparently it comes from Germany. Would be nice to find something locally though

Asia and deodorant? We don't even need that stuff.

A friend fell for it. Not sure how lol, since they're using unusual characters in the subject line, and any legit company wouldn't send emails like that, but turns out people are paranoid enough about missing a shipment that they'll take the bait.

Super annoying and repetitive, daily, for last few weeks.

I got a very crafty spam email the other day. It was from a legit business contact, with a subject about a proposal and a correct-looking signature, and the only way I figured out it was spam was the link to the RFP document took me to a website URL of "<company name>.org" instead of ".com".

I've been using this stuff lately:

https://lafes.com/collections/roll-o...l-on-unscented

You can get it at Amaranth, Community Natural foods probably has it too. I go non-scented.

I know I've said it before, and I know we're all different for preferred temperatures but there has to be limits, no?

Just stopped at safeway and had to check my phone for temp after. 4 customers in sweaters or light jackets. It's 30 friggin degrees. I can't even begin to understand how your body would have to operate to go out in +30 and say to yourself "yeah, it's evening now, I'll just toss on some kakhi pants and a light jacket that should keep the cool +30 evening at bay".

To all you pot smokers, holy fack do you stink! Campground is full of the smells of people making different dinners, bad fires, and the stench of your weed over powers it all. I should compress lawn trimmings and dog crap into logs to burn next to you so you can get an idea of how disgusting that smell is.

Another needless death in Banff. That’s two stabbing murders in Banff. Previous homicide was in 1990.

WRGMG. The hundreds of people waiting 30 minutes + to get gas at Costco blocking all roads to other stores.
And me not noticing the road being blocked before I turn… arggh

Might mess with my beer buzz. Unlike pot smokers, I can generally contain my stupidity within my own camp site

Oh yeah, because drunk people have never been disruptive at campsites before.

That’s why I qualified my statement with “generally”

Well then how do explain those of us who aren’t at your campsite reading these posts?

J/K Brendone, enjoy your getaway on this holiest of long weekends

You know what, I have no qualms with this gear grinder.

To each their own, but the "allure" has just never outweighed the downsides of it to me. Pre and post-legalization.

Sure, there's a time and phase for dabbling but as far as a method for coping/relaxing, there is a multitude of better things that won't dull your mind and make you smell terrible wherever you go the rest of the day.

In public spaces it's frankly just gross and distracting, and not in a good way.

If you indulge at home and then actually put on fresh clothes and freshen yourself up before going out again then respect to you. That seems like a sensible way to go about it, at least.
