Rain continues in Rome, no play is expected today. Could happen but not likely. Imagine paying double the price to see Roger only to have it rained out. I hope they give out refunds.

I haven't had the chance to listen to this interview as of yet, but based on some of the comments, it sounds like a very interesting and revealing piece. Just under 50 minutes long.

Wow Rome really drops the ball. They cancelled the day matches but will try play the night matches. This makes no sense to me, why wouldn't they play the matches scheduled first? Now Nadal/Federer/Thiem may have to play two matches tomorrow while Djokovic will play one today and one tomorrow.
Come on Shapo win today pleaaase

If Rafa does play two matches today, the first one was a nice warm-up as he rolls past Jeremy Chardy 6-0 6-1

Thiem loses to Verdasco Sauce, which given his recent matches he's played may not be a bad thing going into the French. Interesting that he is now 0-4 versus Verdasco.

That chair must have told Nick to get a haircut. Kyrgios received a game penalty, packed his stuff Mike Commodore style and stormed off the court giving the match to Casper Ruud.

with the furniture flinging power he's shown on clay so far, there is definitely serious damage potential for all other surfaces as well!

Joker will play Kohlschreiber later today and the German has a recent victory over Novak. That said, Novak is in sublime form, it would be a huge surprise if he lost.

Upset alert as Borna Coric takes the first set over Fed 6-2
Edit: We need a 3rd set as Fed takes set 2 6-4

What a day for Verdasco as he follows up the Thiem win with a victory over Khachanov.
