A game like this is probably the best learning experience the team can hope for with a new coach, a bunch of new players, and a new goalie.

If only there was like a camp or something before the season started, we could even play meaningless games against other teams so the players had time to gel!

If you didn't just cast blind faith in the GM, you'd already be prepared. The coaching hire was just bizarre. Hope Gulutzan works it out, I give him 10 games before trashing begins.

Treliving should have trimmed his roster for the coach much earlier. 3/4 of their top line missed camp ffs. Grossmann shouldn't be available to use.

Gulutzan should apologize to Treliving.
He took every strength from last year and made a mess of each D pairings. Versteeg is not first line player even when he was 26. This is insane what B'S Gulutzan pulled tonight.

It's game one... the reaction of some people on here is pathetic. Fire the coach!! Our players suck!!! Team is dooooomed!!!! The absolute worst type of fans. Have a little faith, this is our first game with a complete roster.
