finally watched the second debate in full. Great entertainment. Basically it boiled down to this:

Audience Question: There are several potholes in the street in front of my home. As president, what would you do to solve this problem?

Clinton: I think that's such a great question. I have talked to many people who have to deal with potholes in their streets. My own father had a middle class home and so I grew up myself in an area with potholes. In my time as Senator I tried to fight potholes, but there was a Republican president. We have to do something against those potholes. I have talked to many roadmen who have tried to fight potholes - Hispanics, Mexican and Afro-American roadmen. I have talked to women who have tried to fight potholes. Russia is responsible for potholes. Donald is enthusiastic about Russia and Putin. Donald also hates women and degrades them. Just go to hillaryclinton4ever.com and who can fact-check that my plan will reduce potholes by 37 percent, while Donalds plan will raise the number of potholes by 16 percent.

Trump: Potholes are a disaster. Our streets are a disaster. Look at China. China doesn't have potholes. The Chinese know how to deal with potholes and take away jobs from American companies. I will fight potholes and make America great again. Hillary Clinton is just talking about potholes, but she doesn't deal with them. Again, that's just locker room talk. She has spent 30 years and still didn't solve the pothole problem. She only cares about the streets of her of Wall Street friends. Like Bernie Sanders said, she has very poor judgement. Just look at Syria, look at Iraq. Potholes are a disaster. Iraq is a disaster. The deal with Iran is a disaster. Like Bernie Sanders said, she has very bad judgement. I will fight ISIS, that's not just locker room talk. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are responsible for ISIS. Hillary Clinton has deleted 33.000 mails about potholes.

You're giving them too much credit for staying on topic. Potholes wouldn't have been mentioned after the first sentence.

This is so random!

Lawless today confirmed a 1997 Herald report that suggested Trump had propositioned her but backed off when he discovered she was engaged.

The Kiwi actress, who was 29 at the time and widely known as the star of hit TV show Xena: Warrior Princess, said she was staying at a Trump-owned hotel in New York at the time.

Trump, who was 51, dialled the direct line to her room.

"I was staying in his hotel and the phone rang, and I thought that was a bit peculiar," Lawless said. He then went on to ask her out.

"The thing that was funny about it, is that he said he had recently - and you could hear the inverted commas - 'just come on the market'.

He'd just broken up with a person.

"He said, 'Perhaps you heard, I've recently come on the market'. My eyebrows shot up. It was a funny term for a property developer to use."

Lawless, who is staunchly anti-Trump, said she wasn't tempted to take Trump up on his offer.

Republican nominee Donald Trump claims he gave generously to help his city in the dark days after the deadly terrorist attacks. But new records show a pledged promise to donate $10,000 to a major 9/11 charity must have somehow slipped his mind.

City Controller Scott Stringer conducted a review of hundreds of pages of previously sealed records of the two main 9/11 charities at the request of the Daily News, and found that Trump and his charity hadn't donated a dime in the months after 9/11.

"For the periods covered by the audits, we did not find any record of a donation from Trump himself or a Trump entity to either the Twin Towers Fund or the New York City Public/Private Initiatives Inc.," Stringer's office said in a statement to the Daily News in response to a Freedom of Information Law request.

This appears to contradict Trump's prior boasts of spontaneous generosity, made as his hometown reeled from the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil in history. The records show that through mid-2002 there is no evidence that Trump personally or through the Trump Foundation gave to either group.

Y'all read the ironclad allegations that Clinton had Scalia assassinated? Podesta's emails use the phrase 'wet works' a few days before he died, which is apparently KGB talk for assassination. I'm really hoping that finds its way into Trump's stump speech in the next couple days.

I give him credit, teaching kids the word feckless is great. It sounds dirty, but it's not. Kids love words like that. I bet his kids have the most erudite playground trash talk.

That's when a decent moderator/journalist stops and asks the question again. Letting him off the hook with some garbage answer is pretty sad.
