I am in favour of a Horse head retro. That on the retro red and yellow with a tiny bit of red would look awesome. and honestly any superstition is unwarranted as we haven't really been a great team since we got rid of the horse head so why the hell not

Oh please no. The horse head is horrible. Lets not do that again. Maybe the Flames can "gift" it to the Stampeders, at least it's more suiting there.

The horsehead became not terrible the instant the wordmark 3rd was unveiled and a whole new definition of terrible was achieved.

I would be down for some sort of Rapidash-based 3rd jersey. Just keep the fire out of the nose.
The horse heads are great shoulder patches. One of many reasons everyone rocking 2004 Kiprusoff jerseys looks better than people with the 2009s.
The third jersey shoulder patches are also great. They actually make a decent 3rd logo in the hands of AC.
Know what's not a great shoulder patch? The ####ing flags.

I have a feeling the new uni will be retro-inspired.
However, Adidas seems to be into different fabric textures noways. You see it in the gold striping on the Vegas uniforms. So maybe some sort of raised "flame" texture in the gold accent colour on the Calgary jersey?

I know I'm in the minority but I thought the horse head jerseys were great and the best alternative jersey by far (not counting retros). The jersey itself without the crest was IMO one of the best Flames jerseys in itself as they looked great on the ice and the horse head adds a bit of western heritage.
