I put in a few hours last night and so far I think it's great. The game looks beautiful, the soundtrack is on point and the changes to combat feel a lot better than the first Ori.
Yeah the two things I didn't like about Ori 1 (the combat and save / checkpoint system) have been completely re-done and are much better. And it looks astonishing. Loving it so far.
Will the impending doom help or hurt Doom Eternal? There’s panic but on the other hand lots of kids and adults are at home with nothing to do and nowhere to go.
I think there will be minimal impact on game sales. Some reduction from people locking down their extraneous purchases, but some increase from people stuck at home looking for something to do. Helps that you don’t have to leave your house to buy them too.
Huh Nioh 2 came out today not sure how I missed that. I loved the first one, suppose I’ll pick it up and play it during the corona quarantine. Anyone played it or have thoughts on it?
Hadn't heard of Ori until seeing it mentioned here and it looks fun. As a heads up, the first one's Definitive Edition is on sale till the 15th on Steam for $4.99. Think I'll pick this up after work and give it a shot.
Hey guys, my wife is tired of me playing NHL20, so what is a good two player game, preferably split screen/on the same screen? It can be any genre, she really doesn't mind shooting games.
I have an online account, but she does not. So, a two player game that is local and can be shared on the same TV screen would be ideal.

I have an Xbox 1.
Overcooked was one I enjoyed playing with my girlfriend.
Other split screen co-op games I can think of but never played, 7 Days to Die, Diablo III, Borderlands series

I haven't touched D3 in a few years, but it was good on PC. If your wife likes FPS, upgradable skills (RPG like) and completely over the top humor, Borderlands 3 for sure.

Pode is a cute co-op game I'd recommend!

Just picked up Farcry New Dawn on the PS Store for $28. Only about an hour in but it's a blast. If you like the Farcry formula it's a good time to pick it up.

I second the Overcooked recommendation.
Though it may be the end of your marriage.

You are a much kinder husband than me.
I'd just tell her to use our 2nd TV and let me play my damn game.
