Has anyone on tour not had a tough go against Fed the last 15 years? I would imagine everyone outside of Djokovic, Nadal and maybe Murray has a similar or far worse record than Roanic does against him.
Milos has managed tto go 2-2 in the last 4 matches against Roger, which is no small feat. I would still give him sub 50% odds at knocking him off again here at Wimbledon, but that's pretty decent when you really think about what he'd be trying to do against a guy that has won 32 straight sets here.

Federer- the game to make it 4-2 over Anderson took something like 64 seconds. Surgical

Anderson had his chances in that second set but Fed prevails in the tie-break. I expect Fed to cruise to victory now.

Anderson saves a match point and digs out of a 0-40 hole when serving for the set, breaks Federer's consecutive sets streak at 34.

That's also the first set that Anderson has won over Fed in his career.

Federer is in real trouble here, playing poorly while Anderson has stepped it up. Anderson up a break in the fourth.

Thanks for the updates Senator, I'm at work now and just watching the online scoreboard. I watched the first two sets and Fed looked in complete control.

Eh, Fed looked in control in the first set, but Anderson should have won the second set. Overall I'd say Anderson has been the better player, but now the crowd will be turning fiercely against him and given his long history of choking, will be interesting to see how he does in the fifth set.

Anderson is playing unreal right now! Can he keep it up to finish this set and then for a potential 5th set? This is the Anderson I was worried about Nadal playing the US Open Finals last year.
Djokovic has won and advanced to the semis.

I suspect the organizers will drug Anderson between sets, the prospect of Anderson-Isner/Raonic as a real SF is so disgusting I imagine they intervene. Should put that one on court 18 if it happens.

At the risk of showing my age, the allowed fellow South African Kevin Curran to play on Centre Court against Boris Becker. Also, serve-bot Roscoe Tanner took on Bjorn Borg in a Wimbledon final. They'll just have to grin and bear it.

It's mostly that I honestly think you'd see scores of empty seats for Anderson-Isner/Raonic. I suppose the nice thing is tickets are already sold, but no one wants to see that match as a 250 qualifying match, let alone a Wimbledon SF.

In other news, Gaby Dabrowski and Xu Yifan are into the semi-finals in women's doubles.

I suspect Anderson takes it 7-5 in the fifth.

Pretty bold prediction, especially considering Anderson just about got broken there, which would have been the match.

How is it bold? Anderson has been the better player since the opening set, and that was the first time Fed really got a good look at breaking since the third set. Fed isn't playing well enough to consider it inevitable Anderson loses. Plus since he's a servbot, he can always go on a run. I'm expecting Fed to lose.
