I saw tons of footage of Fergie getting frustrated with him --- but some of this befalls him too.

Moyes may be able to come in with the Olive branch, and use him properly again, but then we visit the same ol'' we have FOUR world class strikers.. arguably a fifth as Young can play there too.

We have a logjam on the wings. Zaha, Valencia, Nani, Young..

Does Rooney split the CM role with Cleverly, Kagawa and Carrick?

If his decision is no, someone has to go and perhaps he's taken it upon himself to be that odd man out.
I was watching the pundits and apparently he and David Moyes are not on great terms either? Very bad Evertonian blood....

That said, he has to find himself a home somewhere but he also has to perform, he has to behave (for the most part) and he has to be considerate.

He earns a LOT of money. Not many teams can afford to pay him that.

Does he cross over to the blue side of Manchester?

David Moyes sued him and was given 500k for libel when Rooney's book came out

supposedly their issues are over but I imagine it won't be peachy, with SAF still involved though I am guessing he stays

Mancini fired

of last year's top 8

only 2 (possibly less) of the managers will begin next season with the same club

Wenger and Pardew

yeah Moyes sued him a few years ago over claims that Rooney had made in his book. The thing was then settled out of court, Rooney apologized and Moyes accepted. Don't know what their relationship is like now. Maybe the dust has settled, but you just never know.

Frankly, I'm getting really tired of Rooney's antics ... putting in transfer requests every two-three years doesn't really sit well with me, to be honest. If you don't wear the shirt with pride and conviction, then get the hell out.

I don't think this is about money again. I think he has the "Ronaldo illness" and hasn't felt loved enough anymore since RvP arrived.

Don't think they'll sell him to another PL club, only abroad. Paris, Monaco, Bayern, Real, Barcelona. Don't see any other destination that makes sense.

after this season, I'm not convinced that Pardew will be back ... wouldn't be surprised if they let him go. And I believe there are tons of Arsenal fans that would love the see Wenger go too

I dont think hes going to find the love hes seeking outside of Manchester United.

I think this Arsenal/Wigan game is going to be fantastic. Come on Wigan! For some reason I want them to stay up.

Dammit Wigan. WTF?

Joel reminds me of Almunia. Hes either brilliant or garbage, no middle ground.

This explains much of Wigan's goal difference issues.

And yet Spurs only managed to grab a point from them this year. FFS.

Relegation is a crazy thing, I always enjoy watching the relegation battles because the emotions are genuine.

Its always interesting seeing the disappointment on their faces, knowing that really, they werent that bad but too many mistakes and too many games where they mailed it in.

Its like watching those guys in University who are calculating what they need on the final to score a C, you never should have left it that late.

even just from an entertainment standpoint

Wigan winning would have made a crazy final day

now only 1 game really matters and it only matters to 1 team (Toon v Arsenal)
