She does seem resolved to the fact all of her children die, so why not at her own hand... what would be interesting is what would that do to Jamie if he found out Cersei killed Tommen.

I'm pretty sure she won't do it on purpose as she loves all her children very much regardless of what they do (Joffrey). More than likely she'll issue the order to someone like Qyburn to do blow things up if the trial doesn't go her way. She'll end up watching Tommen enter the Sept helplessly not being able to stop what she started.

Would be consistent with problems she's caused because of lack of foresight ala setting off the high sparrow, etc.

I think it says her brother will kill her. It's vague as to which one. I'd have to re-read the passage or give it a quick wiki search to be certain.

EDIT: Yeah, the word apparently means "little brother" in High Valyrian. But she is technically slightly older than Jamie, as she was the first of the twins to be born. And some theories speculate that a little brother, not necessarily her little brother, could fit the bill.

If Tommen does die in a wildfire attack orchestrated by Cersei, I could easily see Jaime being the Valonqar who chokes the life out of her.

In the tv series, they cut down the prophecy to omit the part about being killed by the little brother. Maggie just starts laughing after the "gold will be their crowns ... and gold, their shrouds" line.

We will see by episode 10. Apparently her trial is then according to the episode description. Also it's been nominated by the show writers for best costume effects so I suspect we'll see lots of walkers as well.

Forgive me if im missing something. But if Jon Snow were Lynna Starks son wouldnt he still be a ####### regardless? He still wouldnt have a claim to anything than no?

He'd be a bas****, yes. But don't forget that they can have that 'taint' removed and be proclaimed a full blooded heir. Also, he would have some of the Targaryen blood, which is what would be looked for.

He'll have a claim once Sansa dies in the season finale and Arya can't have kids because she got stabbed in the uterus. Rickon will also be dead and Bran will get trapped in a dragon. Just my personal theory, sorry MMF.

Also it's not like there's ever going to be another book in this series so I've kind of pushed it on to the I don't care pile.

I have sorta read the books. Found them boring.

I think both threads are interesting. I like reading what people think is going to happen without any book knowledge.

Howland Reed is still alive. I wouldn't be surprised to see him show up with his men to help out Jon in the battle.

Any thoughts on how Nymeria will re-enter the fray? It would be awesome if her and her pack got their shot at Ramsay's hounds, but I don't see that happening tomorrow (if for no other reason than geography). Do we have to wait until next year when Arya returns? Probably. But then what?

Anybody have/read any reasonable theories? I have seen this quote from Martin at one point (spoilered because his quote literally says he doesn't "like to give things away"):
