Looks like he is not available tonight. Not even warming up

Would have been nice to gain on LA as well, but that was a hell of a win.

I hope the Jays can go out and get another starter somehow to prevent Hutchison from starting again. If it wasn't for the offense being great, this would have been a loss.

Even if it's just an okay guy, that'll be better than Hutchison. Worst 10 game winner ever.

Hutchison having 10 wins is mind bottling. Time to put a bionic arm on Stroman.

Stroman is likely going to go to the pen when he comes back. He won't have the time necessary to stretch himself out to be a starter. It'll take him 6 weeks to stretch himself out that long, and there's only going to be 4-5 weeks left in the season when he begins rehab.

At least Hutchinson won't be pitching against the Yanks this weekend.

Hmmmm, I hadn't thought of that. I was banking on Stroman coming back next month to the rotation.

He has been throwing all summer, so it might be possible that he might be able to come right back into the rotation, but it probably won't happen.

Even if he isn't stretched out, I would rather have Stroman in to throw 3 innings, then hand it over to Schultz / Hendricks.

Better than having Hutch start anymore games.

Stroman starts his rehab assignment on the 21st

dont see it possible or worth it to have him start, you give him 2-3 weeks in the minors and bring him up to boost the bullpen

try and emulate what KC had last year

Stroman/Sanchez/Osuna can all throw heat and lock down 3 innings a game, maybe more because Stroman and Sanchez could go multiple innings

plus Lowe/Cecil/Hawkins with them, BP becomes a strength

Price
Buehrle
Dickey
Estrada

That's your 4 if you go to the playoffs. Stroman can go to the pen. Can Price go on 3 days rest if they go with a three man rotation? Dickey probably can given he's a knuckler.

I've been a Hutch supporter ever since he came into the big leagues, but he's such a Jekyll & Hyde this year, even in the same game. Really frustrating to watch. If I'm Gibbons I skip his next start and maybe even give Hendriks a chance the start after that. Kid has lost all sorts of confidence and looks sloppy out there. Maybe some extra rest will right the ship for the rest of the season.
