Suh's BS rep as a dirty player is likely what caused the moron ref to throw the flag and why fans will be all up in arms about him stepping on a guys arm.

LMAO...yeah...when you purposely stomp someone its easy to compare it to someone else who did the exact same thing
But yeah...its ALWAYS the "moron refs" fault...
HAHAHAHA....Lions suck again...good

7-4 is sucking?
I know it is somehow the responsibility of every Packers fan to be an obnoxious dick at all times to show how "big fans" they are but I do you give credit for taking insufferable to a new level in terms of NFL fandom.

I'm happy that the Saints won't have to deal with Suh next Sunday night.

Yes...since a great start...they flat out stink.
Im a dick am i? Nice.
This from a guy that has defended Suh in every instance since the guy started his crap
Quote:
The replay showed Suh flipping Packers guard Evan Dietrich-Smith, a reserve playing for injured starter Josh Sitton. Once on top of him, Suh used his right arm to push Dietrich-Smith's head into the turf three times. As officials and players pulled Suh up, he kicked several times with his right foot and made contact once with Dietrich-Smith's arm.
In what surely will be a highly-rated game on national television, Suh just lost forever his battle to be viewed as a physical player who stops short of being dirty. There is no explaining what he did, and the entire nation just got to see it. That was a dirty play with no intent other than to hurt Dietrich-Smith. The vast majority of his controversial plays haven't qualified as such in my mind. But today's was too blatant and too visible to dispute.

Finally caught up on the PVR so I can stop avoiding this thread. Lions have had a couple weak calls against them (this ref crew is just brutal), but they're also completely shooting themselves in the foot, its crazy. I say it partly out of frustration because I like them, its tough to watch.
Case in point was that Suh stomp after stuffing the Packers on 3rd down. I re-watched it 3 times on the PVR, that was a legit stomp, he meant to do that. Then next play, TD. What a complete idiot. You know why you have the rep of being dirty, Suh? Because you're dirty.

Why is there an automatic suspension for getting kicked out of a game?

that's an ejection in any football league on the planet and a major roughing penalty.
The ejection is probably more of a reputation ejection then anything else, when you've been called on the carpet by the league commissioner for dirty play, doing it again is brainless.
And I've been cheering for the lions this year, their fans deserve a decent football team.

Aaron Rodgers is my favorite non Colt player. A class act and has a great personality. MVP hands down and the best player in football easily.

I remember when it was Rodgers first year as a starter i believe, that Charles Woodson said that if they could protect him, he would be the best QB in the league. Charles is looking pretty smart right now.

Was it the bag on head award that used to go to the poster who would try to defend his side of the argument no matter how wrong he was or crazier he was as he kept going?
If we still had those awards Moon would win it every year.
I didn't agree with some of those first half penalties against the Lions. But those and losing Smith put them in the hole when they deserved better. Than Suh decided he'd like to be on the Packers thank list. Selfish play, no excusing that.

It's gonna be close for Rodgers to pass Brady's passing TD record of 50. At 33 TDs now with 5 games to play. He might fall just a little short. Has a good shot at Marino's most passing yds in a season, which is just over 5000.
I think Rodgers will start every game from here on, but my guess is they will start to sit him into the late 3rd, early 4th quarter if the Pack have a sizeable lead (which will possibly be the case against KC and a Cutlerless Chicago)

Miami's defense has been playing really well here lately. I give them credit they've kept fighting when they could have quit.

It's pretty amazing to think we could have 3 players break that record all in the same season. Brees, Rodgers and Brady all have a shot at it. I think Brady's fallen off the mark a bit, but Brees & Rodgers still are on pace to break it.
I think Brees especially has a very good shot at it. He's picked up more yards at this point than he had in the '08 season, when he missed the mark by 15 yards. That and of their remaining 6 games, 5 are in domes, 4 at home, so late season crap weather will not be a factor. Add to the fact that they're in the thick of a playoff/division race so there's no reason to rest him, and I think he very well could do it this year.

Amazing that Brady is doing it with Tight Ends. How much better would his career numbers be if he had decent receivers before Moss and Welker arrived? Manning, Brees and Rodgers have all had real good receivers.

Man, if the Cowboys lose this game we might see 9-7 being good enough to win the NFC East.
