For the record, I'd have Earl Campbell and Gale Sayers much higher than they are. Their rankings were clearly damaged by a lack of longevity. I think Campbell was a better Jim Brown than Jim Brown personally.

Aaaaand the complete circus known as the Brad Childress show continues on unabated.

Quote:
A confrontation between Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress and receiver Percy Harvin grew so heated Friday afternoon that coaches and players were forced to separate them to prevent a physical exchange, according to team sources.

According to sources, Childress questioned Harvin's effort during the practice. When Harvin took exception, Childress suggested Harvin submit to further testing on the ankle. The debate escalated and "was as close to physical as you can get," according to the source.

After the two were separated, according to sources, a teammate told Harvin: "You just did what a lot of us have been wanting to say for years."

NFL Sunday Countdown just shredding Mike Shanahan for his McNabb move. Good.

Game Day, lately with work being so busy this has been my only day off of the week. Looking forward to todays game between the Dolphins and the Ravens. The dolphins need this game to keep pace with the crazy AFC race. After next weeks Titans game the schedule gets easier for the Fins. I hope the players know how close they are to making an excellent run and they put forth there best effort today.

Curtis Martin is the Art Monk of RBs. Quietly went about being one of the best ever so the media overlooks them all the time.

Even though it's the Bills, the Rogers Center looks pretty empty to start this game with the Bears.

Ravens take a quick 7-0 lead on Miami, and Houston takes a quick 7-0 lead on San Diego after a blocked punt and a TD by Foster.

Chargers special teams continue to be awesome, they give up their 5th blocked punt against of the season. The rest of the league combined has allowed that many.

I heard on the radio this morning that Rogers had to purchase the remaining unsold tickets to avoid the blackout restrictions. Not shocking news considering the Bears and the Bills are two awful teams.

Browns with a quick 10-0 lead on the Patriots less then 4 minutes in. Brady hasn't even got a snap yet.

The Bears are 4-3, thats not an awful team. They also happen to have one of the top 5 fan bases by size in North America. I think Toronto is a terrible city for it's size in terms of how it supports North American football be it NFL or CFL.

I think Toronto is just a terrible sports town generally (baseball, hockey, football, even soccer). They're just a great leafs town.

Phillip Rivers is a stud. No Floyd, no Gates, not Jackson and he still shreds defenses.

Didn't they triple the ticket prices of a normal Bills game too or something along those lines?

Ravens start 1st and Goal at the 5 yard line on a Chad Henne INT. End up getting pushed back due to Penalties/Sacks and attempting a 38 yard FG. Fumble the snap. Miami ball.

What a disaster.

Can Miami get a real Offensive Co-ordinator, henning is so old I don't think he remembers how to play the odds!

Polite is like 19 for 20 on a yard or less and we throw it on 3rd and goal from the 1?????
