St. Louis is a funny market. Close to 3 Million people, and should be able to support all 4 major sports leagues, but it really is a baseball town #1.

The Cards own April to October, but the whole winter is now about the Blues.

Has to help with local corporate sponsorship and box sales you would think as well.

I figured another team would give Hue a shot. Too bad for him it's the Browns. He will get their offense playing better but the defense is pretty bad and he's got no QB. One thing about Hue is that win or lose he will make things exciting for Browns fans as they haven't seen a guy as brash as him.

The McAdoo rumors are really heating up. Earlier on Wednesday, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported he senses McAdoo is the front-runner for the Eagles' job. Jimmy Kempski piggybacked on that report:

Yep, all signs pointing to McAdoo to the Eagles. Announcement expected tomorrow, which rules out the other leading candidate, Doug Pederson.

It shows how far the Niners have fallen that Hue Jackson picked the Browns over them. Who could've predicted that the decision to force out Harbaugh after 3 wildly successful years would make the Niners an extremely unappealing destination for other coaching candidates?

As cool as it would be to have a team in Canada, I'd worry BC Place would make the library crowd at Rogers Centre for those Bills games seem like playoffs Arrowhead in comparison. After living there a couple different times, I've come to the conclusion Vancouver is NOT a football town.

It's too bad all the football mecca's in this country are the smaller, prairie cities. None near large enough to support an NFL franchise

Really good interview Adam Jones by Brandon Marshall. Worth a watch. They talk about Vontez, Jones' flag, his mindset etc. The interview really humanizes these players and their thinking.
