Yeap, LA loses two points in that scenario so we clinch just like I said.

Assuming we both believe Buff is their best player, I agree. Buff was out for awhile with injury.

So I've be asking myself this the past 3 weeks but honestly how bad do you think it would setback Giordano's injury if he lifted a 34.5 lbs piece of metal in June?

Don't care! I want him to try anyway. I want him to be able to lift it 5 times. Otherwise rehab is a fail.

I think the LA game is almost a must win. Odds are LA beats San Jose on Saturday.

We need 2 points out of 2 games to make it past LA, so not really a must win.

Obviously would be nice to clinch in a decisive head to head match.

I think San Jose would love to ruin things for LA.

Exactly. Lose in OT in a tough battle with the Kings and a point is still likely required against the Jets. Nothing is settled yet.

If the Jets win Thursday and clinch against the Avs how hungry are they going to be Saturday? I guess they are still battling with the Wild for positioning but perhaps that game becomes easier for the Flames if the Jets are home and cooled as opposed to fighting for their playoff lives?

Let's hope the Flames finish this before that

You know Winnipeg is the loudest building in the league by a factor of 100 right? The players might take their foot off the gas slightly but you can rest assured the fans probably won't. It's a tough building to play in

Isn't it Dustin Byfuglien's first game back? He's going to be going balls out to get ready for the playoffs, no?

It's not like he has been out half the season. Sure he will be rested, but if The Peg has clinched they might rest some other players.

You have to give credit to Winnipeg, beating Minny and St. Loo to probably get in.
You can pretty much say they've earned it.

Sure glad somebody (LA) blinked last night. Changed the whole dynamics.

Actually it is not thst loud. I was at a game there in 2013 in November. It was a 5-0 Jets win over the Preds and I came away thinking that is the most overrated building in terms of being loud I have ever been to
