That might be one of the earliest surrender plays I can remember, especially by the team winning. Fairbairn made the 56 yarder to salvage it at least.

Lions effectively surrendering there is maybe more shocking. Texans get the ball to start the second half so going run-run-pass-punt means they could be down three scores by the next time they meaningfully touch the ball.

Well that's game. Too bad, should have been a good one, but fairly no-show performance by the Lions. Credit to the Texans though.

Thought the Lions were known for their aggressiveness? Trying to run the clock out down 9 and without the ball to start the 2nd certainly was a choice.
