Don't think it will make a huge difference but this doesn't help Seattle.

Makes sense. After their McDaniels (Chip) fiasco they need a Fox (Coughlin) to come in and steady the ship.

So I'm not sure if Mark Davis plotted this, but the Rams are officially off to LA, the Chargers could be be joining them, and the Raiders will be getting a ton of cash to step aside, allowing them to build their own stadium.

Raiders should stay in Oakland so good to see that.
Now St. Louis is a big market without a NFL team. Give them 10 years to reclaim one?

Whoo boy, that stadium is only 20 years old, takes up a rather giant piece of downtown, and every time I go there for work and gaze upon that massive structure from our office building, the people I talk to are still sore that they foot the bill for it. I would guess it is probably all about the baseball Cardinals now, and that city is pretty much done with the nfl.

Still think the Chargers stay now, really puts the pressure on the city of SD to make a deal and negotiate a stadium downtown...preferably next to Petco Park.

I'm pretty bummed as a Raiders fan but not surprised. It's kind of a travesty that of the three cities St. Louis really wanted to keep their team and was willing to put up $400 million for a new stadium and the NFL deemed they were the best fit for LA over the Raiders and Chargers who both have zero chance of getting facilities built in Oakland or San Diego. Money talks and Kroenke has more than all owners save one.
Could you imagine if say if the Panthers, Coyotes and Flames wanted to go to Las Vegas and the owners decided the Flames were the best fit to relocate? Pretty ridiculous but it is what it is.
I imagine the Chargers are forced to become the 2nd team in LA as they can't go back to San Diego and the Raiders are likely looking at St. Louis, San Antonio or maybe even San Diego. Sounds from post interviews like Davis doesn't want any part of going back to Oakland.

I'm pretty disappointed in the NFL. However, I don't know all the details of what happened in St. Louis. Just really feel for the fans.

I agree with you, but, how about the fans in Los Angeles who supported the Rams for 49 years prior to the move to St. Louis?

Rams pulled up shop in LA to go chase a better stadium in 1995, and now that's turned around. (The Angels then transformed the that multipurpose stadium into a baseball only stadium, and its very nice)
Ironically, same day that got approved in '95, the owner sold 30% of the Rams to the current owner, who since took full ownership, has now moved them back to LA, to a better stadium.
Article below also assumed LA would have a team in a few years.
http://articles.latimes.com/1995-04-...8_1_rams-owner
So to wrap up St. Louis, 4 winning seasons out of 21. 5 trips to the playoffs, 1 SB. The building they played in had the atmosphere of a warehouse.
Likely to play in the LA Coliseum for 3 seasons. NFC West will truly be west, with Arizona the only non-oceanfront city.
NFL is a lot different than it was in 1995. And, stadium issues seemed to have been the biggest issue for the Rams (and Raiders) in LA. That seems a non issue now for the Rams.
Who knows what happens with San Diego. League has given them $100m, which they could use to work out a stadium deal back in San Diego. Otherwise, they can be a tenant of the Rams-owned LA stadium.
As always, who really knows whats going on with the Raiders. They have no lease, have a terrible stadium, but a quirky owner who's unpredictable.

the Raiders should explore playing a season at BC Place. New market, newly rennovated stadium and we can go watch!

That is the one nice thing about this. However, I don't like how teams can leave one city and then turn around and go back. Stadiums are expensive, and it seems like owners are expecting these things to get rebuilt every 15-20 years now.

Brown have interviewed Hue Jackson twice. I'd like them to hire Matt Patricia.
They must draft Goff or Lynch.
