Its unreal how woeful the AFC is as a whole....5 teams better than .500....and one of them is negative in the PF/PA category.

Hopefully Cutler isn't out for any serious amount of time or this could be the same picture as last year. Campbell is better then Hanie but won't carry this team anywhere

It is 6 teams...but only 5 of those with a positive point differential.

Really league wide 14 of 32 teams at .500 or better, that's a pretty low number. Matches how many teams also have a positive point differential too.

Lots of bad teams in the NFL right now, likely has to do with the practice limitations in this CBA.

That team is only going as far as their defense takes them IMO, regardless who is under center.

Sure it is. I'm sure Campbell is as good as Cutler would be.

Just like last year when they went 7-3 under Cutler and went so far afterwards when he got hurt. I'm sure Campbell would be 31-19 cause anyone could with this defense

how about Kyle Orton , he had a great record with that defense.

Ummm...Cutler hasnt exactly lit it up with the offense this year....their success comes down to how well the D plays. Im not saying Campbell is as good as Cutler because he isnt, what i am saying is it doesnt matter that Cutler is better...the entire team goes as the defense goes.

In ANY measurable QB stat...Cutler and that offense are below average,

Passer rating? 24th
Yds? 27th
Yds/ G? 28th
TD's 16th
Completion %? 24th
Only 6 other guys have thrown more INT's.
Only one (Rodgers) has been sacked more.

So tell me again...how much of a difference does he really make besides his "leadership"?

Take the homer glasses off and look at those numbers...they are what they are. The Bears will live or die by defense, period.

For a while there it looked like the LA Galaxy were going to score more points last night than Da Bears.

I misunderstood what you meant then. I felt realise that the team goes as the defense goes and that Cutler isn't anything more than an average qb at this point. He does have an awful line in front of him but it has been much better the past few weeks and he hasn't improved much on himself. My point was that the team is betterbthan with Cutler then without

Colts CB Jerraud Powers placed on IR, big blow for their team losing their best corner for the rest of the season. Hopefully Davis can come back soon because I'm not a huge fan of Cassius Vaughn.

Seems like a harsh penalty for a play that didn't happen but I guess if someone took a cheap shot and was called for unnecessary roughness that should be called.

At some point a team like KC has to say screw it we are 1-7 lets just go for it on 4th down.

Doing the same thing and punting has got you to 1-7 what do you have to lose other than your job which is done at the end of the year anyways?

Just atrocious officiating. Zebras bound and determined to get the Steelers a win. Some things never change.

As usual the Steelers getting pretty much every call in their favor. Seahawk fans know all about that from the 2006 Superbowl. Mind you...a win only lets Jacksonville get the QB that we need. At least they didn't completely embarass themselves tonight. Charles looked good, and the D played hard. I think I could call plays as well as Dabol does.
