I'm digging Cage Fight's debut album. Band features TesseracT guitarist James Monteith and singer Rachel Aspe, whose audition for France Got Talent (video) went a bit viral a decade ago. Album is a fusion of hardcore and thrash and pretty much pedal to the metal from front to end.

I went to the Rammstein show in Montreal on Sunday. Excellent concert.

Spoiler!
Nice! Not many experiences out there like a Rammstein show (I’ve seen them a couple times in Europe and a few times in North America in the past). I’m seeing them in LA next month after what has seemed like an eternity of delays since what was supposed to be a 2020 arena tour.

Just stumbled on this band from Italy, Miscreance. Their album Convergence was just released and it's good. Like, really good.
If Death and Atheist had a baby and they rocked old school death metal, this is what it would sound like.
Easy front runner for metal album of the year for me.

Just about to get in and see Whitechapel, ####in jacked!!!
Edit (a few days later):
Here's the set list from Trivium, the other 3 bands can be found towards the bottom of the page. Whitechapel was great but damn I wish I got to hear the saw is the law, elitist ones, mark of the blade, when a demon defines a witch, hickory creek or possession. Didn't get a single one.
I was worried after their keyboarder left because I really liked her clean vocals, but her replacement is great ... and she doesn't only provide cleans but also adds some harsh vocals. Very nice.
