This is the whole problem with misinformation these days.

Somenody random says something and now we the readers start believing it and taking it as fact. Elections are won on this tactic these days. It's a huge probem with social media, forums...etc. we need to do a better job calling out misinformation when we see it.

Not sure if this is Connie's style, or something else, but anyone notice he doesn't say anything about the players being traded away? He hasn't done a formal presser yet, but usually you get a "we'd like to thank him for his time here" or "hard to see him go but wish him the best" etc.

Conroy is such a nice guy. Makes me think there is an underlying GTFO if you don't want to be here and/or you and your agent were not helpful.

These players have put him through a LOT in the last year, I don't blame him.

Pretty sure i've heard him thank outgoing players on a couple of occasions though.

Seems like a lot of out ufa’s seem to not be sad to leave. I have wondered if they hold resentment’s about the huby contract? Saw their dollars go to someone else who just showed up?

I don't think NHLers by and large dislike other players' big contracts because they see it as lifting the whole marketplace.

One of Vegas' media guys was on during the 2nd intermission last night and was asked what he thought of the Hanifin addition. He got some things right about him as a player but he also said he plays with an edge and gets shots through to the net.

I’m absolutely thrilled with how Conroy has been handling all the UFAs and how he’s not only getting picks, but acquiring lesser known players with upside.
