Were these protesters straight piping their diesel fumes into houses? I am still lost. Did something happen that I completely missed in the news? This would have been covered by the reliable Canadian news stations, no?

Oh well enjoy 16 straight years of Liberal Rule!

Sure, if you read them. I'm pretty sure these kind gentle folks found themselves in some legal trouble for their "peaceful" protests and were found guilty. Pretty sure the commission also found them not peaceful. You can do your own research, though. But the law seems to have come to a conclusion.

Carney might be one thing, But who is voting for the cast of Liberal MP's that currently hold seats for re election? Did they by association tarnish their name enough as to not be reelected?

Lol ok.

I hope you atleast drive an electric car so that you get to pretend that you are helping make the world a better place. You definitely seem like the type of guy (sorry if I misused your pronouns) that honks his horn often out of irrational emotions.

The Canadian justice system that puts child rapists on house arrest came to a conclusion? Wow. Now I am satisfied.

Eff that s-word. I'lll never drive an EV unless BYD comes to Canada with zero tariffs and under $25k... so prob never.

I'm one of the few liberals who cheers for global warming. Calgary will be the new palm springs and the US will be an 80% s-hole desert.

Most of his cabinet is not running so they obviously have either lost their desire to be an MP or they have realized that their brand and their name has been tarnished to the point where they are concerned about re-election.

use some facts and figures. 50 years is a long time and immigration was not consistent during that entire period.

We need higher immigration than historically if we are going to build out to the aspirations of the same people who seemingly hate the idea of immigration.

Yes, I agree that immigration in the last 5 years has probably been a failing policy, but I likely disagree about why. We need more stringency, but we also need to offer more to immigrants. Otherwise we will just get a bunch of "student" immigrants.
You're actually not saying anything I disagree with. But I'm also not seeing Carney, or any other party for that matter come out and say they will do anything different than what has been happening the last 5 years.

Corporate Canada wants cheap labour to fill grocery bags and pour coffees. Its the Canadian way!

These people? Care to elaborate?

And no I am not triggered that you said "these people." I am certainly alarmed that you seem to be defending the most evil human beings on planet earth, though.

Canadians really don't care about the carbon tax right now when their identity as a Canadian is directly under threat.

I think Poilievre easily survives a 2016 Trump, not this version.

There's of course a lot of recency bias with everything positive in terms of Liberals in the limelight. Harris had a substantial honeymoon phase for a few months where it seemed all but assured Democrats would win. This was until it was realized it was the same old Democrats.

In the end, most Canadians are indeed angry at the Liberals and NDP, but they are now united in hating Americans while we see pictures of Danielle Smith with O'Leary and Trump and see Carney as the most competent option to protect Canadian interests.

How has PP's message in regards to Trump differed even slightly from what the vast majority of Liberal leadership hopeful's have said?

This seems to be some kind of narrative that PP has endorsed anything Trump has said.

Accepting there is a Drug problem in this country and our border is weakly secured is not a Trump endorsement, but a reality check for this Canada. Is it just that Canadians are so hateful of Trump that any kind of message that remotely aligns with Trump is too much for Canadians to stomach?

PP has several times emphatically stated Canada is a proud sovereign country and it will stay that way.

What else can or should he say to further drive that home? Call Trump names or demean him? Accept that drugs, border and Military are right where we want them?

People who have zero respect for the jobs others do and their conclusions, even when anchored in the law. You want to find each and every one of these people and discredit them and their professions? Please do. Let's see your list. I'm sure it's well researched and founded in fact.

How do you feel about vaccine research scientists?

"I saw the dedication [Anand] brought to National Defence at a time it was desperately needed," wrote O'Toole. "She cared deeply about the CAF, their families and the need for Canada to do more. I wish her fair winds and following seas."

Two hours later, Byrne reposted O'Toole's words and added: "For anyone unsure why Erin is no longer leader of the Conservative Party…. [Anand] supported DEI [diversity, equity and inclusion] policies like name, rank and pronouns. Tampons in men's rooms, etc."

Byrne, an influential Conservative organizer who worked in the Harper PMO, has been a key architect of the Conservative strategy in Poilievre's tenure. She did not respond to an interview request from CBC News.

If there is one thing we should be able to agree on it is that the highly influential people behind the scenes of the parties are likely the reason why our politics are so ####ty. These people are a cancer to the system and it includes Byrne, Butts, Telford, Gauvin and many others.

You are right, I have zero respect for these people who enforce laws. Here's a little bit of a disturbing read, maybe not for you, for some sick reason.
https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/here-is-just-a-partial-list-of-dangerous-and-serial-child-sex-offenders-set-free-by-the-canadian-justice-system

As for vaccine research, I believe in the real science, not the one forcefed down our throats by the mainstream media, which I know is the only one you believe to be true. No rational human being would believe that a "brand new" virus had a vaccine available in no time at all. I always like to follow the money in these situations. Would love to see the profit numbers big pharma raised from covid 19 alone.
