Not sure why KK is throwing home in a 7-0 game allowing the runner to advance to 2nd. Then a useless pick off move that lets him walk to 3rd.
You have a massive lead. Just relax and get one more out, don't worry about the other stuff.

Power trip by the ump. A low ball called strike to K Belt, he turned around to point out it was low, and gets tossed. So dumb, he wasn't freaking out or screaming, he just pointed out the obvious.

Ump was poor on the strike zone all night and it finally hit a breaking point...and that was in a blowout. He would have been a seriously annoying ump in a close game.

Red Sox on an 8 game win streak.
What a division. Geez
Jays in 4th place in the division, in the 3rd wild card spot.....would be in 1st place in either the AL central or AL west divisions.

And yet they're still only a .5 game ahead of the Jays. And thats with a 4 game sweep. The Sox will fall off at some point. They don't have pitching and their lineup is punching waaayyyy above their weightclass. It just sucks right now because they're all ginormous dbags that will look better in the basement.

Vladdy out again today. Hopefully with the day off tomorrow they want to be careful with it and give him an extra couple days to heal

Hopefully Belt can have another game like last night. Having the three lefty bats of Varsho, Belt and Kiermaier all contributing is huge for the lineup as a whole.

Hopefully.
Did a 5 man Jays stack in a GPP lineup today. Varsho, Chapman, Belt, Whit and Jansen. So if Jays bats go cold you can blame me

A play like that emphasizes how nice it is to have a quality fielder at 1B. That throw was high but Santana didn't have to leave the bag or jump to get it. Could've easily stretched for it.
I'll take it though lol. 1-0 good guys.

Is there anything better than watching a third basemen scoop up a short hop and just fire a rope to first?

Now officially Kikuchi's longest outing as a Jays starter. Pretty amazing turnaround for him this season.

7 and 1/3, 4 hits, leaves a runner on 2nd. Pretty great outing for him.
