I am the opposite, I want more... MOARR!!!!

There are a lot of rumours floating around the internet about this movie but there is on in particular I see on a lot of spoiler sites. Either everyone is taking the same bait or there is a big reveal that could potentially be ruined for the mainstream audience soon. I would tread lightly out there!

Nope, I'm done. Already seen too much and the movie is so close. Let us band together and go on media blackout.

Well since this thread is about the movie I would just avoid it all together if you are truly on a black out. I won't be censoring my comments regarding trailers or news. I won't be posting obvious spoilers, but I am not going to be in another thread where I have to spoiler actual discussion because a chosen few decide to avoid that information. If you enter this thread, you enter at your own risk!!!

For instance, what the fudge sticks was on that one storm troopers arm that was strong enough to stop a light sabre??? Have we seen that tech before anywhere? Wait in those 3 crappy prequels didn't they have staves like that? Hrmm closer look it appears to be a robot of some kind and not a storm trooper.. interesting.

Also it's quick but at 0:48, Admirable Ackbar sighting!

Anything that's been officially released should be fair game. That includes stuff outside the trailers and in books, comics, toys, etc.....

Anything pirated should not be mentioned.

"The robot" looks to me like a storm trooper that is holding up a staff with electricity around it.

That could be Ackbar or one of the any other members of his species who look identical. Also, did anyone else find the name of his species "Mon Calamari" kind of bizarre. They're named after a type of food they resemble?

Yes, the staves wielded by General Grievous' guard had tips that stopped lightsabers.

Bit of an extended promo with some new footage, is that Finn sitting in the Falcons gunner pit at 0:41?

Yea this new TV spot confirms he is in fact in the Millenium Falcon, and is that Rey flying it? What the what? It appears they are pretty tight in the movie, running around together in the desert.

It was a StormTrooper wielding an Electrostaff.

From Wookiepedia: The electrostaff was an electronic melee weapon constructed of lightsaber-resistant phrik alloy equipped with electromagnetic pulse-generating tips.

Two months prior to the airing of this episode of "The Mike Douglas Show", the mega-blockbuster film "Star Wars" debuted in U.S. movie theaters.

Host Mike Douglas and co-host Richard Thomas are joined by the three top "Star Wars" cast members -- Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, and Mark Hamill

This is a rare chance to see these three "Star Wars" actors in their younger days, prior to the time when "super stardom" enveloped the trio.

It's July of 1977, and it was a different era, and certainly a less frenetic era as far as talk-show atmosphere is concerned. Great, great stuff here.
