If I'm the Browns I finish the year, fire Mangini, throw money and power (full personnel decision authority) at one of the big name coaches available (Shannahan, Cowher, Gruden, Dungy or even Holmgren) and plan on rebuilding for real this time. Take the lottery pick, trim all the fat (most of the roster aside from a couple OL) and don't trade for anymore former Jets.
If Lerner keeps Mangini around just because of his contract, he's going to go through this same crap until even Cleveland fans start to boycott the games.
Adam Schefter reported yesterday that the Browns job was Holmgren's to lose.
Lerner has painted himself into a corner. No matter what he does it will be expensive and isn't going to see any results for at least a couple of years.
How the heck did Mangini get the job anyways?

Not to mention Kokinkos (sp?) the GM they just fired. Makes the Chiefs look leaps and bounds ahead of the Browns in terms of progress.
Complete domination by the Broncos and they're down by 4.
Hilarious.

Great response by Pittsburgh. Wouldn't expect anything less.

Broncos need a big offensive play. Steelers third down defense has done a complete 180 now.

Well defended. Never a bad call getting Marshall the ball in space. He's taken many of those for a first down.

Ouch. I think that will be the game if they punch it in. I feel bad for Denver's d. They have done everything to get the win. Denver's offense has sucked it up.
Orton's rushing out of the pocket. He's shaken. Give me Cutler in this situation.

Ya not good situation to be in. Orton is a not a deep ball QB ethier where we need to get big gains at this point of the game. Orton getting rattled by the Steelers pressure.
Denver is plenty good enough to win the division, but they'll have to make some pretty big strides on offense to win a playoff game, even with home field.
