Wait, you hated Gio in his last few years here? Didn't he win the Norris one of those years, and the other two were a pandemic shortened season, bubble season the next? You can argue that by the last year here as a Flame, father time was catching up to him. But Gio in 2019 was awesome.

4.6M is a pretty good number actually. And 4 vs 5 years would have been worth it, I feel. That's 33 vs 34 years old in his last season. Plenty of defencemen are still very much solid players at 34.

I didn't say my list was 'right'. Textcritic originally said i was butthurt with Flames who are no longer Flames, which was never the case.

I'm glad Lindholm and his kyitty playoff play is gone. I wished he would have re-signed with the Canucks.

it really surprises me how bad Petterson has been since signing the contract. looking like a big mistake, he waited so long to sign to make sure the Canucks would be competitive and he turns out to be the weak link and horrible playoff performer.
