No disrespect to SureLoss intended but it gets quite annoying trying to read through a trade rumour thread or a signing thread and 80% of the posts are "Omgzz!11 Sureloss is faster than Bob Mckenzie!!1!1!".

Yes, we are lucky to have him, but he probably even gets a little annoyed with that.

Agreed, everyone knows he's awesome. We don't need to have a comment on it every time someone is beaten by him.

What is SureLoss's story? Is it known on CP who he is or how he is able to break stories on here so fast?

I made a very similar post commenting on how quick he is.
Is someone just jealous they can't break the news as quickly?

RGMG how many people fall for fake trade rumors and want to post them right away. Then change the thread title to "delete" or "NM"

Sureloss should just be permanently assigned as the news guy. I know he unofficially is, but it RGMG when someone else makes a thread trying to beat him to a trade, and they end up embarrassing themselves then apologizing and wasting everyone's time. People need to just stop trying and let him do his thing.

Yeah, I'm sure it really gets exhausting being thanked by a whole bunch of random people for providing your effort and time which you are under zero obligation to provide.

I think 80% of the posts are all the same information. I don't get the infatuation on being the one poster to get there a millisecond before everyone else. Here's from the Hemsky trade thread:

Same with the people that try and beat Sureloss to starting a thread.

For the sake of CP's servers, why not just let Sureloss do his thing and post each thread this time of year?

There were 4 threads about the Moulson trade.

That stupid viral hoverboard hoax video making the rounds this week. Has everyone forgotten about the North American House Hippo? Is everyone really that gullible these days?

Speaking of which, what is everyone's infatuation with having to tell anyone the result of any sporting event? It doesn't matter if they don't care about the sport or team, but everyone feels obligated to blurt out the result just so they can say it.

Prime example, my girlfriend was unable to watch the women's hockey game live, and therefore she taped it. A customer came in after the game had ended and asked if she had heard about the hockey game. She said "no, and I'm taping it so please don't tell me", but the lady insisted on informing her of the win. Why?

Happens all the time with sports all the time. The worst is when you say you don't want to hear the result and you get some snide remark like "well the game was boring anyway until the 9th inning" or "you won't be dissapointed with overtime" or "probably not worth watching it anyway". All those things tell me about the game I just asked you not to say anything about!

Hmmm, this turned into a bit of a rant, but it really grinds my gears!

People at work who aren't eating but want to talk to you while you are eating really grind my gears.

Especially the people who hover and ask you about your food or comment on how it looks.

There is almost nothing in my job that is so important that it can't wait until after lunch to discuss.

I hate this. You're eating a salad at work for example, and then the following comment occurs from an overly-interested coworker:

"Eating a salad, hey?"

Well... its highly likely. It looks so much like a salad, it's uncanny.
