Andy Strickland @andystrickland
Can confirm Radim Vrbata has given Vancouver his list of eight teams...reality is he may be willing to go to only 2 or 3 of them #canucks

1/2 retained and a 3rd for a bag of mouldy pucks, an Ice cream cake and a 20 dollar Tim's card with 17.90 left on it.

Well it can't be the NHL market he's testing.

If BT can trade Hiller I'll be impressed. I mean if he can actually get anything in return for him that would be awesome.

Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger
LA doesn't seem keen on Boedker, but remains interested in adding both a forward and d-man. #TradeCentre

I'd really like Stajan moved, $3 mil is too much for a 4c.

Hell $2.50 and some envelopes is good enough for me.

This year, the worst forward and worst defenseman in the NHL have been traded. Only makes sense the worst goalie gets dealt as well.
Call it a Mike Milbury hat trick

As much as I want to hate on Schultz, I honestly think you put him in an offensive role with proper coaching and a fresh dressing room and I wouldn't be surprised if he can turn it around.

Brodin's name prominent in trade rumors, especially since it was linked to offer for Ryan Johansen earlier this season. But...
Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie 11s11 seconds ago
...MIN isn't shopping him or trying to move him as much as fielding inquiries from teams eager to get 22 year old Top 4 D with $4.16 AAV.

I think a playoff team with an unproven backup would look at Hiller. He has come in good on relief and is a known quantity and would be a pure rental. Flames would retain a lot of salary as budget not an issue but doesn't get you much more than a middling prospect or late round pick.

Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
CAR-NYR trade talks for Eric Staal in a nutshell: CAR wants 1st rd pick; NYR adamant about not giving up 1st rd pick. So...
Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
...can NYR and CAR find another way to get it done that is palatable to both teams?

But said underwear can be redeemed through the holy act of washing.
Same cannot be said for Hiller.

But getting a 1st round pick is so easy. Teams want to give them away...

Talk of Nashville and NYR looking for a backup per frank seravalli. Nash more likely as they have the cap room, would be tough fit/salary retention for NYR.
