As much as I'm with you they still need to score, because of who they're playing. Leads evaporate against Golden State and there's no reason to think Curry won't suddenly hit back to back to back 3's. If the shot is there, I think you have to take it, whether there's 5 on the clock or 15.
But ideally, it should be Kawhi taking said shot.
