I'm aware. I just went this year, the presale for weekend 2 didn't sell out as far as I remember, and it still sold out really quick. Guess I have to be a little more prepared in January.

Did you try and get tickets this year? Weekend 1 was sold out instantly. There were barely any tickets left from the pre-sale.

Considering what a "disaster" the pre-sale was yesterday, I don't envy people trying to get tickets in January.

Yesterday I was sitting in the waiting room for around an hour and a half. The only reason I managed to get tickets was because people who already had been in and purchased their tickets could get right through the waiting room and buy another ticket with a different credit card. My one friend (out of 10) who got through the waiting room ended up making 10 different orders on his computer. It sucked.

As much as we people bitch about Ticketmaster, Front Gate Tickets is even worse.

You're still forgetting that this was just a limited allotment of tickets

I'd love to see where you are seeing this limited allotment of tickets. Last year they sold over 75% of the total tickets to weekend 1 during the pre-sale.

I'm assuming Valo hasn't tried buying tickets in the last two years. It's been a mess.

What exactly are you expecting them to be selling in January if this isn't a limited allotment? This is a PRE-SALE.

I'm not saying tickets won't go fast, I just think you're over hyping the 'disaster' that it will be.

Edit: This may just be a case of differing views on what a ticket buying disaster entails. Once you've attempted to buy on the Carnegie Hall site the word disaster takes on a new meaning.

You keep saying the same thing. If they could sell all of the tickets right now, then why wouldn't they? Glastonbury sells out every year in the PRE-SALE, before any lineup comes out. Coachella is going to be the same thing.

I'm sure there will be tickets available in January. They will likely be packaged with the shuttle passes or VIP tickets to get some extra revenue. There are definitely going to be a lot less tickets available than you seem to believe.

But whatever, I got my tickets. Best of luck in January.

"Coachella's sold out, almost a year in advance! Both weekends! But don't worry if you didn't snag your tickets yet — these are just advance tickets. More passes will be offered early next year."

They have quite clearly not sold all of the tickets right now. I'm not sure why you find this so hard to believe, the whole pre-sale concept is not a new phenomenon.

That's our plan too. Are you spending the night anywhere? We are stopping in Spokane.

Another fantastic Sasquatch over. Holy smokes. What a weekend.

There really isn't anything like seeing a show at the Gorge. Absolutely breath-taking. Seeing Beiruit on the hill during the sunset was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen.

Oh, and Jack effing White. Wowzers.

I'm not expecting a crazy show, but guy had zero energy or presence. He also started a solo, effed up, and just kinda walked to the side and let the band play. Just seemed out of it

Yes.

There's some white text in there somewhere.

Lame. He's always been one of those live acts I always wanted to see. If he can't pull of Sasquatch, I have little hope for him pulling off a lesser venue.

Did manage to see Jack White at a local theatre here. At one point I was really debating Sasquatch vs. Coachella with White and Beck being the selling points for Sasquatch. Coachella plus Jack White concert seems to have been the right choice.
