Harry Redknapp "I've never seen a team miss so many open goals in my life"

Official site says his injury isn't as bad as reported.

Yeah, it'd be great if we could even get a goal at Madrid and not concede more than two. I did kind of foresee this at the beginning of the year. Really didn't think we could finish much higher than 5th without an elite striker. The injuries certainly haven't helped either.

ya if Mourinho is actually telling the truth about the players who won't be able to start, and if Bale is good to go

I do think they can manage a 2-1 type game

“The Premier League is the best competition in the world and it’s not easy to win a league with great teams like Man United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal as rivals.

“But we have a bright future and why not try to win #something next year like the Premier League or the FA Cup, something like that?

“No one is thinking of leaving. We are happy here. Tottenham are a big club, that’s it.”
e
From Modric

nice to hear that from him, and with Bale all ready signing a new deal it looks like no one important is leaving

having the best players on the team be croatian and welsh with absolutely no ego's is a nice bonus than having someone English/Spanish/Italian etc. who has been coddled his entire life in to believing he is gods gift to football

Luka Modric's agent insists he will only be leaving Tottenham if the club chooses to accept a substantial bid. Modric has caught the eye this season during Spurs' successful Champions League campaign.

Luka Modric: Transfer speculation
Modric has been linked with Italian giants Inter Milan and Juventus in recent weeks. But the 25-year-old, who joined on a six-year contract from Dinamo Zagreb in 2008, signed a new long-term deal just last May.

Mordic's agent, Nikki Vuksan, reiterated that he has no intention of leaving White Hart Lane this summer and said Modric would only go if Spurs take the shock decision to cash in on one of their prized assets.

"They are just rumours," Vuksan told calciomercato.it. "I have read comments from different people on this subject, but the reality is that Luka has a long and important contract with Tottenham.

"Last summer he extended it until 2016 and he's very happy in London. If a bid should arrive it would be up to the club to evaluate it. Tottenham want Modric to talk with club officials and, to my knowledge, this has not yet happened, so at the moment I can rule out any surprises

"It's difficult to say whether he will be there for life but he is enjoying his time there now. He enjoys playing with his team-mates there and the club is going in the right direction.''
