In order to properly understand marriage and be able to formulate an opinion AGAINST same sex marriage, you must first understand the whole reason why for century's people have got married. except there are no shades of gray. if you are against gay marriage, which won't impact your personal life whatsoever, then you are a person that feels the need to control how others live their lives, and as such are an asshat

My post was not about my opinion of gay marriage but rather about the intolerance that you, and others in this thread, have demonstrated because you feel those who do not agree with gay marriage are intolerant.

If this were 2060, would you be defending bigots who believe that married people shouldn't be allowed to marry other people (i.e. polygamy)? After all polygamy doesn't affect your life in any way, does it?
