Having not seen something like that in action, it sounds like it would be headache and/or seizure inducing.
Still, interesting and cool as hell if they can make something that works well.

So I'm thinking Ninty was a bit better in their 2010 E3 showing than 2009 E3? Although, the 3DS going against that Wii vitality sensor last year, I don't know. It's close.

Yeah, thought they'd having something on it. Was strange last year when then mentioned it briefly and that was it.
Maybe it was just a joke...

This is really going to take the piss out of Sony when they announce 3d gaming with glasses. I have a feeling a Move + 3D focus could have Sony and Microsoft slapping it out for most embarrassing show.

Sounds like either a parallax barrier or a lenticular type 3D screen.

Looking around online, there's a ton of great 3DS games that weren't mentioned in the conference. These include:
Paper Mario 3D
Star Fox 3D
Pilot Wings Resort
Mario Kart
Animal Crossing
Also, some 3rd party games:
Ninja Gaiden
Dead or Alive 3D
Street Fighter IV
Ghost Recon
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (I'm assuming a 3D remake)

Keep in mind, there is also a slider that can change the degree of 3D to the point of turning it off completely so that dynamic change has to be part of the display as well.

That's just a software thing, just alter the range of separation between the two images.

I'm guessing the glasses floating in their graphics mean we can get ready to buy some headgear.

Did anyone get a chance to see Motorstorm in 3D at the Sony store? I saw it at Chinook and it looked cool. Killzone 3 could be really neat in 3D.

What's the best site for watching the Sony presser? IGN is lagging pretty bad.

I'd say Youtube, they already have insane infrastructure for this and it's been nothing but smooth.

Killzone 3 looks great.
Nice to see a nice twist on gameplay (the jetpack) in a FPS for once. Reminds me of Crysis in a way.

This presser is full of shots at Microsoft.
New game announcements - what a concept!
