We are tied again for first with 8, and we have both men and women's curling in the Gold medal game, we have Men's Hockey to look forward to, as well as a bunch of other events.

Too bad we couldn't get gold in women's curling. We would have a 2 gold lead instead of only one. Impressive none the less.

Almost guaranteed to tie our record for Canadian medals at a winter olympics: 21 now, with guaranteed medals in 5000, hockey(if we hold on here), and curling, and a solid shot to break our record with good medal chances in both bobsleigh and snowboard.

It's really too bad the women's curling team blew it at the end there. Otherwise we'd be in very good shape to break the record for most golds in a Winter Olympics (13 by Norway in 2002 and by USSR in 1972).
We still have a solid chance, but we need curling, hockey, long track team pursuit, and snowboarding all to come through. All are good possibilities though.
