I needed 26 points from Henderson and Sharper. I got 21. Ouch. Thats what I get for playing Eli. Alex smith would have made it an easy win for me.

I can't believe I'm even still alive with how I've collapsed down the stretch yet again, but I see I've still got a shred of light left for my play-off hopes in the CP "B" league. If Ray Rice and Ryan Grant can somehow net me a combined 40.5 points, I will actually qualify for the dance. GIT ER DONE!!!!!

Ok, playoffs baby, here's my dilemma, who to start WR edition. I have:

Colston
Welker
R. White
Sims-Walker
Meachem
D. Hendersen
Nicks

For four spots. I could run with five of those guys but my third RB is Jamaal Charles and I think he trumps any of the fifth receivers.

Thoughts?

How in the hell did you end up with all those stud recievers? How many teams in your league? Four?

I'd go with Colston, Welker, White, and Hendersen.

Receivers weren't hard to come by in either of my leagues this year. In my 6 team league I have:

Wayne
DeSean Jackson
Fitzgerald
Boldin
Calvin Johnson
Maclin

In CP B league (12 teams) I have:

Fitzgerald
Santonio Holmes
Owens
Malcom Floyd
Braylon Edwards

It's an 8 team league so there's alot of talent to spread around. But I fleeced a guy in a trade for Welker and traded Steven Jackson for Colston. Picked up Sims-Walker, Meachem, Hendersen, and Nicks on waivers.

So here's my dilemna. I have a WR, RB, and W/R slot available on my team. Who should I start out of the guys below?

Boldin @ Detroit
Wayne @ Jacksonville
MJD vs. Indy
DeSean Jackson @ San Francisco
Meachem vs. Dallas
Maroney @ Buffalo
Calvin Johnson vs. Arizona

Dashon Goldston saved my butt in the first round. An INT and 2 forced fumbles really help.

I crushed my opponent in the first round by 38 points. It has been a roller coaster ride for me this season. I won the season opener only to go on a 6 week losing streak. Then I went 5-1 to qualify for the playoffs on the final week with a record of 6-7. If I win this coming week I will be guaranteed $250 for second place with a chance at $370.

Crazy game, this fantasy football. I lost by 80 points last week. This week, I play the top team in our pool, they have a 7 week winning streak and I beat them by 100. Thank you Brandon Marshall, Eli Manning, Dallas Clark and Brian Dawkins.

Have the Colts stated what they plan to do with their starters this week? I've got Manning as my starting QB, but I'm wondering if I need to go pickup somebody off the wire this week? (Hello Orton or Alex Smith..).

Alex Smith against the Eagles would be an iffy play.

Here were the scores in my league for the first rd of playoffs (8 of 14 teams made it):
The Fever...............114.07
Steamers................108.92

GreenGuys...............106.34
icepacks..................103.00

Cleveland Scotians.....136.77
Durangos..................110.90

Naked Bootleggers....167.64
Mira's MILFs.............201.53

The guy puts up 167 points, more than enough to crush anyone else, but he gets crushed. He put up a message saying he is in 3 pools and in all 3 he had the 2nd most points and lost to the guy with the most points. That was actually the story of his season; in the first 6 weeks he had the 2nd most points 3 times and lost them all. He Started 0-6, then won 7 in a row to grab the 7th (of 8) playoff spot, only to see his streak broken this week and be knocked out in the first round.

That was me to a tee in my other league. Finished in 11th place with a 3-10 record, yet I was the 4th highest scoring team. I just always happened to play against the team who lead the league in scoring for that week, complete BS. I swear I lost a couple years off my life from that season.

That's what I would roll with too. Although MJD is a risk, Indy has a great defence and he hasn't exactly been lighting the league up in the last 4 weeks.
