I don't know what the average IQ is here, but I know that there are some pretty brainy folks who post on calgarypuck.com. So brainy, in fact, that I sometimes feel stupid.....and I know my own level of intelligence is far from embarassing.
I imagine there are some nastily high IQ's here. Most of them probably won't brag about it either.

You are right. Decent CP guys do not give many s to me (even they disagree with me) and most suckers here using bad words <removed> with me are stupid.

As for IQ scores, pretty meaningless. Everybody who goes to law school has to write the LSAT, and presumably do fairly well on it. The LSAT is a glorified IQ test. I know from personal experience that there are numerous idiots who have graduated from law school. ( a lawyer I have worked with bought speakers out of the back of a white van... not saying he's an idiot, but sometimes I wonder about his judgment as a lawyer with more than 15 years experience)
For the record, my own IQ was measured around 150 as a kid. The last reputable test I did pegged me at 145 a few years back, which is probably consistent with my LSAT %ile. (96th) But I generally don't go around relying on that number, I choose to make arguments with logical premises to let others decide whether to value what I have to say.
And yes we did land on the moon...
Hey Hey Hey i bought speakers from the back of a white van also
After telling friends that they all laughed and told me i got scammed. Well i paid 200 dollars for them so i decided to hook them up to my big screen and have surround sound. I dont know how people say it was a scam they work perfectly fine and no one is complaining when they are at my house watching a Flames game with surround sound.
I must admit they did give me a brochure stating they were speakers worth thousands and i was fooled by that but they are real nice speakers and if i was put in the same situation i would buy them again.
